  1. Sigur Ros, Frightened Rabbit a couple of times, Richard Hawley, Meursault, Pure Love and Wintersleep so far.

Got tickets for The Black Crowes, Johnny Marr, Springsteen, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Stone Roses + Primal Scream and Meursault. Set my savings back a lot but a lot of my favourite bands are in there.

Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Frightened Rabbit, Villagers, Joy Orbison, Foals etc. at T in the park.. might catch The Killers there too, used to like a few songs.

  2. Got tickets for Meursault, Richard Hawley, Frightened Rabbit twice, Sigur Ros, Foals, Johnny Marr, Roddy Woomble, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Crowes, The Stone Roses + Primal Scream, Bruce Springsteen.

Been setting aside ticket cash for ages. Going to be a year for the books.

  3. Leonard Cohen - Amen

    Leonard Cohen - Going Home

    Leonard Cohen - Darkness

    Bob Dylan - Tempest

Bob Dylan - Roll On John

Bruce Springsteen - We Take Care Of Our Own

Rolling Stones - Doom And Gloom

Mumford & Sons - Lover Of The Light

    Adele - Skyfall

    Slash - Anastasia

That's the most important stuff I can think of right now...

Really liked the Skyfall theme actually. Never gave Adele the time of day before it.

Adele Skyfall is a complete ripp off of an original James Bond theme. James Bond songs usually feature a James Bond chord here and there, but Skyfall is give and take a few notes actually Adele singing over slowed down James Bond theme.

Yeah I would agree with that, but for a film soundtrack like James Bond I can live without complete originality, was more the delivery and the voice I liked. The movie had a bit of nostalgia towards the older films so I thought it was kind of fitting the song did as well.

  5. I normally can't stand superhero movies, big cgi movies and the like, because the characters, script and delivery is usually pretty embaressing. But I loved the dark knight trilogy. Even despite some appalling one liners (Anne Hathaway I am looking at you, atleast you have your looks), they were big thrillers with good plots.

Feautured some of my favourite actors as well, gary oldman especially was great.

  6. Your top 20 tracks from 2012? Someone had a thread like this last year, I found some great picks in everyone's lists. Thought I'd do it again.

Gangnum Style is not an acceptable joke.

  8. NICKI MINAJ!

    Not really though.

Richard Hawley, Frightened Rabbit (x2), Sigur Ros, The Stone Roses + Primal Scream, Foals, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Should be adding Springsteen, Pure Love and Johnny Marr to this. Ebay providing.

  9. I've not heard anyone mention them, but in the offchance, any fans? They've been my favourite band for a while now. Caught them in Edinburgh last year and it was one of the most intense shows I've seen. For fans of nick cave, leonard cohen, arcade fire, joy division..

Also look up Afraid Of Everyone, The Geese Of Beverly Road, Available, Lemonworld.

  10. I know what you mean but The Stone Roses are like fuckin hipster core major fucking NME band kinda thing.

The Stone Roses are fucking awesome! I couldn't care less which 'category' they fall into, their music is just perfection. Can't get enough of it.

What a load of bollocks. Go listen to your Depeche Mode and be happy.

The Roses are fuckin' lethal man, top drawer smile.gif

You get a roses ticket for next year man? I've got one for Glasgow Green! Cani wait.

    Hospice - The Antlers

Had it downloaded before, but seen it at a decent price so picked it up. Great album.
