I do hope this "guys" never play the ilusions legendary hits. I dont want Estranged to be torn apart, same with CW, and im sure Axl is aware of that, thank god.

You say that as though the current band aren't good enough to pull it off. No matter what you might think of them personally, they are easily on par musically with the old band so I can't see the problem.

They are good guys, I just don't think they can pull it off unfortunately

They can follow the tab(wich is not easy at all), but its not the same thing, it wont reach the other level, and if you think it does, then im sorry but I think you dont apreciate Guns N Roses well enough.

I think you don't appreciate the new line-up well enough. They have a great chemistry and can pull of Civil War easily. No need to follow the "tab", because they probably will not need them because they can pick it up by ear and put their own unique spin on the song.

And as a guitar player myself, the tab isn't really that hard to follow IMHO

Good find Conor. I didn't take my camera because I couldn't be bothered walking back to the hotel with it if I hadn't been able to take it in. I really wish I'd just have tried to take it in as I was in a great spot to get some cracking photos. What's the deal with taking a camera in with you these days? Would you be turned away?

i don't think so. i had my camera in my bag, it got searched and nothing was said about it. however, it was the security when we got into the arena that told us there was to be no photography but it wasn't their decision. their words were "look we couldn't care less if you take photos. we were ordered not to let you". for about the first half of the show, anyone they seen taking photos or recording they stopped them (the few rows they could get at anyway) but after they just gave up. i chanced taking one and nothing was said so i carried on.

Plus you get amazing solos like Ballad of Death which is simply the most amazing thing ever (sorry,got a bit of a BOD thing going on at the mo,!!!! ) and the Fortus OO7 theme. Awsome show for the money IMHO

It was almost 2 and-a-half hours in Belfast, including Better . I for one felt it was value for money.

His vocals in Belfast were outstanding, I really didn't think they would be as good after watching the stuff from Reading on the BBC. The whole band performed to an extremely high standard.
