A couple of notes on Slash in this review (definitely worth a read, the whole thing sounds amazing)

Ok so I've just started posting here and haven't got the hang of everything yet. The quotes aren't really showing up for me, but they're in the link is you can't see them ?

Slash was in the crowd’s face, poking his tongue out in a “I’m loving this” way. Even his top hat and curly fro couldn’t conceal his big stoked grin all night.

The set melted into “Mr. Brownstone” became a giant love-in with Axl, Slash and Duff interacting with each other, hugging each other and leaning on each other and playing off each other’s vibes. The band and the singer were all on fire. Everyone was singing and dancing, myself included. The sound, as usual at the Troub, was incredible

I've watched that Jungle clip about ten times now! More than anything what's standing out so far is how happy Axl looks, genuinely happy, energised, and I think the best way I can put it is unburdened. Of course not the sheer limitless force he had in his 20's (who would have), but to see anyone exuding the sheer joy of doing what they love , with the weight of those years of negativity lifted , is going to keep me smiling for a while. Happy happy days.

Me too, I thought a pic had gone up of Axl arriving with Izzy, and the entire internet broke. 

I was planning to, then people started posting pics, no chance ! 

It's 2.45 in the morning, I'm not even drunk. All I'm doing is refreshing this page. Guess it's a drag myself through day for me tomorrow, sorry stuff i was meant to be doing, this trumps everything else.

I'm embarrassed that my first post is to be able to confirm that the pic of Kim is old. In my defence I only remember it for thinking 'NO NO NO NO NO' when I first saw it.

Hey everyone, I have lurked here I feel like forever, I have loved GnR since I was a kid and someone tried to shock me with the Appetite artwork. Instead I was hooked from then, and from the moment the rumours started, oooooh  it was  the best time I can remember,  in a long long time .

Anyone that's going, have the most amazing time. Can't wait to hear EVERYTHING
