this is lyrically insane and probably one of ax'ls best besides coma on illusions and i had fun with this singing in axl's style. tell me what ya think. the instrumental is of courses the bands from 1989 so its amazing the music. take a listen please!

i would really like some honest opinions. there are some suck singers in gnr cover bands and i aint sayin i am great or anything and my voice doesn't really get as high but i think i have enough of the live egde to do it. what do you think? here are some clips below

But seriously, when you cover a song try to make it your own. Don't try to be a punk and make it sound like what was originally recorded, we have that version and it's fine how it is.
But if that's your regular voice without trying, well then my first answer applies definitely.

great minds think alike.thanks for the input. I am having fun and probably am straining my voice a bit. It can be better but of course no excuses. I have not sung breakdown like that for fun in like 3 years hehe seriously and i just went to youtube and started singing it one take karaoke and was a blast. I used to sing these gnr songs all the time karaoke style for fun and today I just said wtf ill give it a go you know. Its good fun!
