Anyone heard of them / like them?
Went to see them Saturday Night in Newport. My second time to see them, OH MY LORD! They were amazing. The lead singer has so much energy on stage yet still shows so much emotion. He managed to get what felt like the whole audience behind him [and underneath him - repeatedley] and made the venue feel like an arena. A good mix of the first and second albums too, very good set. Along with Kids Near Water and Alamos on support an amazing gig.
A live band I'd highly reccomend to anyone too, no matter who you like.

I'll see you there dude, can't wait to see Megadeth, VR [again] B[M]ullet For My Valentine, n Black Sabbath hehe. I've read in Metal Hammer that Machine Head are playing but can't find any news of it online....
As for BLS, he rocks, the only album I've got is The Blessed Hellride, I might get Mafia though from all the good reactions here n stuff. To be honest, my opinion of The Blessed Hellride is that he's an amazing guitarist and all, maybe a bit weak on vocal talent but all in all that it's a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's an awsome album, just sounds a bit too generic too much of the time really. I mean there is a limit to how many times you can pull off a pinched harmonic on the lower string before even that sounds monotonus. All in all a brilliant act though and one I'd love to see live just for the beer guzzling headbanging fuck you all sake of it
Dude, get 1919 Eternal, or if you want a taste of their live experience, The DVD or Alcohol Fueled Brewtality.
Quality stuff.
Oh yeah, I also hate you, I have a GCSE on Friday, so I can't go to the Friday download, I REALLY wanted to see Megadeth one last time, I went to 3 dates of their UK tour...but....blah
Sunday, hasn't really convinced me to go yet, Motorhead and Slayer really :-/

Yep, it happens a lot with me when im soloing. I can usually control it when i play rhythm, but when i put a hard vibrato on a 1.5 or 2 step bend, that string is toast like 10% of the time. It's all good tho, doesnt take that long to reload.
Have you tried tuning down half a step (just like Slash does), of you tune to Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb and Eb then it makes the strings far far looser so you can bend further before there's enough strain on the string to snap it. Either that or try getting lighter strings or a lighter top 3 string - Ernie Ball make them and call them Hybrid Slinkies.

i bought this one a few years ago - quite simply the daddy, foooookin love it. the best decision plus i picked it up for £350. bargain
Looking at the same thing myself, but with just the 2 pickups. On the other hand might get a standard, upgrade the p/ups n chuck the epi's into a Squier Custom Strat or something...
Most likley to be the Custom though...

Ok, I'll get straight to the point. I've got a hard drive off my friend and I'm trying to fit it as a slave drive on my computer. It has Windows ME and some data on it already so I realise that I need to format it. I'm running XP. I've wired them both up with a Y power cable and a 2 port hard drive cable. Whenever I boot up with both set up, all I get is the message:
Drive not ready.
Insert BOOT diskette in A:
Press any key when ready.
What do I do? My drive is set up as a master and my friend's is set up as a slave. This isn't completley nescessary as I could just wipe his drive and install XP there. I'd prefer to have both drives running though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
