  1. Talks about playing next year’s Super Bowl half time show with their original line-up are apparently underway.

Singer Axl Rose refuted speculation this week (February 8) that he would agree to any kind of reunion with his former bandmates. But despite this US sports blogger Kent Sterling claims that a source has given information that talks are ongoing.

According to the report, “Preliminary talks have already taken place to reconvene the most popular line up of " for the event next year.

However, the blogger acknowledged that discussions are in "very early stages" and that it "may turn into nothing".

If the reunion were to happen it would be the first time the line-up that recorded the band’s acclaimed 1987 debut album 'Appetite For Destruction' had played live together since 1990, the year drummer Steven Adler was sacked.

Guitarist Slash recently said he'd be up for talking to Rose about a reunion – but only if the singer apologised to him. The pair are not thought to have spoken since Slash left the band in 1996.

I really don't believe that but imagine just for one second. We have to wait what Axl said about that.

  4. Why is GNR so popular in South America? Do you guys just appreciate good music more?

Because SA loves any band. VH, Maiden, Crue, I even bet Warrant (LOL) would sell out. GnR isn't alone in selling out down there. Anyone sells out in SA. Oasis, Bon Jovi, anyone with any decent music sells out in SA.

Don't be so sure that every band sold out in SA, metallica don't sold out every show here and is a good band, maiden don't sold out, and lot of bands carry a lot of people but not to sold out a 70.000 people stadium. Besides there is somthing about GNR, something mystic, what can i say, we love Axl Rose.

  5. Because here in SA (Argentina) don't complain aboult slash, izzy, duff, etc, we go to the show to have a great time, and guns n' roses give us that, so why think about whould be better with the original lineup if the new one give a great show, Axl is in great shape and we are hungry to listen great music. Besides when a monster rock band came here everybody wants to go, this is not US or Europe, there the bands play every day, here we have to wait, and now we have our pay day. Bye.

  6. From Baz at twitter: @sebastianbach: Sorry to rest of south America, we wanted to come play 4u. Promoters in Brasil were the only ones who made it work. Hope 2cu all soon!

Ohh that sucks, sure some region band play, and sure a shitty one, c'mon baz you are welcome in argentina. Whatever as long Guns n' Roses play im happy. Would be great if they made a dvd here, we give a good show, at least some hd quality vids.

  7. Yes guys, Guns n' Roses sold out the Argentina show in the Monumental stadium for 70.000 people. I read here a lot of times thats would be imposible to sold out a show, but once again Axl shut up all that negative coments. Sorry for the writing, im argentinian. Bye.

Hope you guys will get a great show in Argentina and a looooong set like the fans in Asia, you deserve it!

God hear you, i mean Axl hear you jajaja, what i really want to know is what band gonna suport the show, wish sebastian bach, but lately here the suport bands sucks.

  8. Moving 70,000 seats is pretty amazing.

I'm sure we will be set straight by the "real GNR fans" about how this is all a sham though. Stay tuned.

Thats very impressing. I wonder what Slash is thinking about that, hopefylly he enjoy Axls sucsess. How is other artists doing in sout america?

Will GNR be touring south africa and Russia too?

Here oasis make just one gig in the same stadium, ac/dc 3, metallica 3 ( 2 in "el monumental" and another in a smaller arena) and i go to the oasis and ac/dc gig and there's a lot of people with gnr t-shirts, especially in the acdc one.
