Gonna have to hop on the wagon here and ask for a PM, can't find anything myself so if anyone is kind enough to share, much appreciated!
-
This has me excited if it is true, my first concert was Hartford back in 2011, and despite the current shape of everything, I wouldn't mind going back again!
-
I'm confused, Dj tweeted about a live stream tonight, but is there one? I can't seem to find anything indicating it.
There isn't a live stream, DJ got it wrong... B)
Well damn, oh well. Thanks for the info, I was going nuts looking for it.
In his defence, he has since tweeted that fact since his mistake.
It appears he has. I should probably be more observant next time!

I'll cut him some slack if he really was sick, and I don't want to believe they'd lie to cover a poor performance on his end. I just hope it gets better, but if it's still as bad as it was at some parts last night in December, it's probably not because he's been sick.

VOD is up already. At least I'm watching it now.
I recorded the concert and I'm uploading it to youtube now.Particularly given that this was a charity show, if VOD is available, then we won't allow links to be posted on here until the video on demand stuff is offline.
Making no apologies here for trying to force people to pay for a bad performance, it's for a good cause.
Fair enough, I didn't think there would be VOD for it. I will refrain from posting the link to the video then.

Appreciated
No problem! Should be up in about 45 minutes, but I'll probably post it here tomorrow when I wake up.
...and I liked the way Axl sang it (minus the voice)...
What?
Yeah, tricky to word, haha. I'm no musician, so I'm not sure the proper terms, but I guess it'd be the style he chose to sing it, as in how it sounded flow wise, as opposed to sound wise.
-
Overall it wasn't that bad, at least compared to something like Rio. I don't understand how he can sound great on some parts, and awful on others. I think the best sounding song vocal wise was Patience by far. Better sounded amazing instrumentally, and I liked the way Axl sang it (minus the voice). I recorded the concert and I'm uploading it to youtube now. Audio seems great, video may be choppy in some parts, I'll post it when it's finished uploading, but I'm sure someones recording is better! I hope his voice shapes up, but sadly, as the past tour showed, it probably won't anytime soon.

making sure, I am live...are they giving the 1999 concert?
Yeah they're showing highlights from '99 for me as well.

Mine is perfect. It was kinda shady a while ago but it's crystal clear now. Has been since Foster the People...
Agreed. Had a lot of trouble in the beginning but for the past hour or so it's been perfect. For those wondering I'm watching it on ustream's site, not through facebook.
Is Jack White wearing yoga pants?
They appear to be really skinny jeans, haha.

I'll be honest, he's just awful at this, just seems to be rambling along.

I have the same toilet in my bathroom, it just got a lot more cool.

Everything about this stream so far is amazing, 10000x better than iClips. Axl sounds fuckin killer tonight!
-
Happy Birthday Axl, words can never describe how much your songs mean to me, hope your birthday is enjoyable! Wish I could see you guys this friday but alas I cannot. Heres to another 50 years of you kickin ass!

The second was IMO Axl's best vocal performance of the entire tour, Civil War from Denver.
You got to hear every performance on the tour? Daaammmnnn ... lucky guy!
I was able to catch only two shows, but they were both incredible.
Hartford highlight #1 was Out Ta Get Me, just the 7th and final time they performed it on the tour.
Hartford highlight #2 was Nice Boys, just the 3rd and final time performed.
Worcester highlight was obviously the first and only performance of Scraped on US soil, but I wish Better wasn't the song that it replaced.
I'm gonna have to agree with you on Hartford. Highlight of the tour for me simply because it was my first time seeing them. I was SO excited when I heard them play OTGM, and then when they played Nice Boys I was really surprised, made my show seem special to me.

I asked for a refund as well and they said it was no problem and apologized for what had happened, got the refund few minutes after I got that email.
-
I emailed them about a refund, and they said because of the way paypal and their system works I wouldn't have access to the show for the 24 hours after the stream.
-
He's spotty but I agree he's no where near Rio status.
-
Now it's just horribly out of sync for me.
-
Oh man this is just awful, now no sound, slow mo video. Never again from iClips.
-
Great now I can't even get the site to load.

Take a break from touring, record a new album, tour with that new album. Only reason I'd want CD rereleased is if it had a bunch of new tracks with it.

I think my favorite part was during Axl's little speech about the Dalai Lama, right at the part he talks about the people who were killed helping him, the one guy in the audience shouting "don't kill us Axl." Icing on the cake.
