It was 1988. My best friends brother was lead singer in a band and played Appetite for us. Funny story, I made a copy on a 60 minute blank tape. The whole album didn't fit and I went for a long time without knowing Rocket Queen existed. I wore that tape out and bought the actual cassette. It was like a bonus track to me and quickly became one of my favorites.

If anyone has a video of You Shook Me All Night Long please post, my daughter was on the screen. She's dying to see it.

I was affraid of this. I already have tickets, hotel, vacation time, babysitter etc...

Yeah, me too. This is the second time this has happened to me. First Biloxi, MS in 2002, now this. My wife is about to write Axl off. I'm tired of making excuses for him.

Hopefully this time they will at least reschedule, and hopefully my schedule will allow me to go.

I contacted the director of booking at the Gaylord Entertainment Center regarding the removal of the event from Ticketmaster. Here is his reply:

Michael,

The show has been “hidden” by Ticketmaster until the official announcement by the promoter. Guns and Roses will be performing at the Gaylord Entertainment Center October 22 and tickets will go on-sale this Saturday.
