    How much money does Axl pay the band?

    Does anyone know how much Axl's guys make?[/size] I would imagine that it is a flat fee per year with tour bonuses ect......I just have no idea what studio or touring musicians that are hired to be in a major band are paid

    Y'all are haters. It's true!! I was there too, at the party. I also got a clip on my cell phone. It's totally sweet...like Axl singing real clean over the mean-ass grinding beat. Un-fucking real. I'll upload the clip soon, but I ate a ton of Portuguese food at the party and I need to take a wicked shit....so after that I'll totally be back with this super rare unheard song. Don't go anywhere!

    Liar or not, i'm pretty sure he has given us all high hopes. the checkmate clip, that estranged clip (if its real) and the CD songs all had to be leaked somehow, why shouldn't this be real?

    besides, he is a respected poster, at least to me, every time I seen that sig, I instantly recognise 'oh its that guy, cool'

    from what he posted of the lyrics i tried to think of any actual songs with them, all i could think of was november rain 'still can find a way' or somethin, i dont really like NR but im pretty sure thats how it goes

    I don't get why a cover band would want to sound like '99 Axl though. That said, it doesn't really matter whether it's real or fake or not, it's hardly got any value this. I'm a massive fan of alternate takes and stuff and this doesn't even particularly interest me.

    I really don't think that's Axl singing at all. It's not even a good impression of him.

    If it is Axl, then he must have been having a bad day.

    You're crazy, if its not him then it does sound a lot like him, just something about it, kinda like that checkmate demo or whatever, but this one bears a more subtle resemblance, i mean listen to the actual version of estranged then this, if it really is fake, then its a great impersonation

    Where do you see this tour taking the new band?

    Why do people continue to think and theorize that Axl will do anything by conventional means? The release of CD was disgraceful, with no promotion, interviews, announcements, etc - a 15 year wait all for a forced release through Best Buy? For all we know the South American leg could be the last we see of them for another year or so. Its fucking annoying. Then they do a handful of shows and everyone has a boner. He posts 3 times to Twitter (with the grammar of a 14 year old girl) and its the funniest and greatest thing ever. And by the way, Axl's lost all the magic of 'Guns' with that 15 year hiatus between albums and a 'real' tour. He's largely been forgotten by the general public. He's basically starting all over. I don't know if he's realized that or not, but I hope he rues the fact that he had a chance and blew it.

    1. CD did have promotion, can't believe people are saying it didn't, in fact i'd go as far as to say that it got more promotion than most albums, plus who the hell cares if it didn't sell too well, at least it got released, and we got the music we have been waiting for

    2. Axl posting on twitter is a pretty amazing thing, especially if you are a fan, and as for his grammar, do you think mocking his use of shortened words and acronyms because he is posting to the fucking internet makes you a really mature and cool guy?

    3. This tour so far has been amazing, people who have been waiting 1 and a half years to see even axls face since the release of CD have a right to be excited

    what is your problem? not everything in this world is as perfect as your punctaution..

    Fucking awesome.I am so pumped even more now.I can't wait for the Toronto show to happen.I was driving down from peterborough and driving back but fuck it i just booked a room and staying up there.I'm going solo but i don't care,None of my buddy's wanted to go so fuck them,they'll be the one's missing a kick ass show.

    Fuck yeah! enjoy the show man!!
