The tempo and the actual timing of the notes is what will be tricky the first time through. When I first started learning this song, I had trouble on the same section. I couldn't get my fingers and picking to match up. As cliché as it sounds, keep on practicing. Work with it slow to work out the timing, then speed it up. It's the best way to approach a part like that.
Do you have Guitar Pro? I'd suggest trying out a Guitar Pro tab of it. Then you can slow it down there and see how it sounds and practice that way. Another option would be to use Audacity to slow the song down (without changing the pitch) and do likewise.
redrum gave a pretty detailed explanation of the actual notes so I thought I would throw in my two cents. Hope it helps! You'll get it.
Yeah, hes right. You should first find the right notes, thats not to hard. Then practice it slowly. So slow that it may seem hilarious. Then you escalate the tempo. Use a metronome. And if you practice it 30minutes to 1hour a day i bet you can do it in three or four days.

Hey!
I've just started recording my covers. I have played for about two years now so i thought that i should give my gnr cover contribution.
I would like you guys to listen to 'em and tell me ur opinion. constructive criticism etc.
I have the whole brownstone up and half of nightrain (still trying to put down the last solo). On both of the songs i play both of the guitars together with a backingtrack that contains drums n' bass.

hey guys!
I've been playing guitar for 2 years now. And today while i was at rockeverksted ("garage rock". Its sounds cooler in norwegian) i was told that they would like to set me up with a bassist, guitarist, singer and drummer so that we could play a few songs on a outdoor-mini-festival-jam-thing june 11th. And this is my first big performance ever, and i was wondering if you guys have any tips for me. I appreciate all answers.

I'm glad that slash has been working with new artist and tried to expand his horizon, if u know what i mean. And i'm stoked about the new album coming up, because mostly there are legit musicians, but when he played with jamie foxx, p diddy and all of those lameass unlegit hip hop wangsters it reached a level called insane. Slash is good at guitar, which i think 96% of all mygnrf members agree with me on, but start reconsider who u work with slash!

Hi there!
If you guys stop that video at 0.15 sec, you can see slash is wearing a patch thats similiar to his tattoo (the one that says slash under, think its on the right arm).
Do anyone know if you can buy a patch like these?
