Any suggestions on where to stay? I'll arrive Monday morning, and I'll leave for Paris on wednesday. Planning on waiting in line most of tuesday, so close to the venue is prefered.

Centrum! :D Looks like it's easy to get to the venue by metro, and Uber is super easy/cheap in Prague as well.

TIPS TO GET TO THE VENUE:

    - Buy 24czk metro ticket (30min ticket) from the machines in the metro stations and hop in on metro line C (red line) and to the direction of Letnany. It's the last stop and when you walk out of the metro, there is the airfield with the huge stage waiting for you!

    Thanks for the tip! :D

Did anyone else buy early entrance for this show and have you got any information yet on when you should arrive?

Edit: Might be a little bit early yet to send out that kind of information.

  3. I didn't have EE for Slane (have for Prague), but I was first in to golden circle with regular ticket. I got front row, so everyone with EE should be able to get IT if they want. A few people were standing behind each other in the middle instead of a little bit on the side at front.

That said, in my opinion Slane was absolutely horrible organized and they certanly don't have respect for the fans. First, they let everyone with EE only into the left area of Golden circle. Second, everyone with A or nothing specified had to get into A (left side). It looked like they wanted to fill one before opening the other half. In my opinion this is very unfair to the fans at front in the queue, forcing into one side, while people coming much later could just walk up to thw front on the right side.

As I didn't have EE for this show I wanted to be sure I got in early. Therefore I got there 9 in the morning, just to be told the police had ordered NO queuing before 2pm. The guards sent us away and said we couldn't queue. Walked around, hang at a place for a while, and got back before 1pm just to se a huuuuge crowd queuing. It's so unfair! I was walking to the front to tell the guards what they told me earlier in the morning, and suddenly everybody moved as they prepared to let in. I managed somehow to get in the front of the queue (feeling bad about it, but honestly I was there early).

Just letting you know. Terrible arrangment, I'm almost about to send MCD a complaint about it. I was lucky, but other fans that were early might not have been.

i always queue from the morning, but now I'm happy I have the EE dor Prague! ?

I've just checked my ACDC ticket from last year. It also says 4pm. As far as I remember, the gates opened around 3, the first opener went on around 5 and ACDC hit the stage at 7:45.

I hope it helps. :nervous: I'm planning to be there around 2. The golden circle was quite huge last year, so I'd like to see something :smiley-confused2:

    Anyone has Duff's side?

    I have Duff´s side!

How huge do you think the Golden Circle was as ACDC? Like how many people?

Are Livenation (they're the organizers I guess?) sending information about how to get there, maps, entranced and other information before the show?

Was as Slane on Saturday (it was great!), and certainly hope we are more lucky with the weather for this outdoor concert in Prague :D

  6. As for now I don't think it's their best album, but I've only heard through it a couple of times. Still a very solid album, and I'm sure I'll like it more when I get to listen to it a few times. I never thought we'd hear Brandon sing a song like 'Here With Me' though, it's a very 'Maria Carey song' if you ask me. But I like it! I love 'A Matter Of Time' for some reason. Might be because of the intro, it's awesome. I also love 'Carry Me Home' (can't understand why it's just a bonus track, it's great) and 'Battle Born'. The end of it is something Queen could've done, I'm loving it. Also I must say 'Miss Atomic Bomb' sounded as fantastic on the album as I thought it would. Electric! I was lucky enough to see The Killers last week in Oslo, and they played some of the new songs. I really like the album so far!

  7. I fucking WON tickets to see The Killers on Thuesday!! It's a special show in Oslo (only one in Europe) for 1200 people only. You couldn't buy tickets, you had to win through the radio. And I won!!! It's my best friend's favorite band, so this is as great as if it was a Guns N' Roses show. Can't believe it!!!!! :wow:

  8. It's hard to pick one as I love all of them and as a whole there are no song i consider as the worst. If I have to name one it would be If The World though. But again, the rhythm in this song is my fave on the whole album. The ending with the rhythm guitar is awesome...!

  9. Ah, I couldn't agree more! This place have become crazy lately. I always check in because for some reason it's become one of my regular daily sites to check... But it's always the same boring board now, with lots of silly threads. Oh well, the band are playing tonight right?

  10. S.S. it is very common to have a beer at a restaurant and to drive home in the US.

Yes it is, and it is fucking stupid! Yeah, stupid! Even after two beers only (which some days is not only, if you are very little and have not eaten much, it would be a lot more than "just" two) it is stupid to drive. All you drivers out there know how fast you have to react if it really comes to a case where you need to. If you then have had two beers, it will make you react a little bit slower, just a little bit. But that could be enough. It is exactly the same as that you should not drive if you are tired, then you will react slower.

Only for this reason (and there are many more) I think, no I know, because it is fact, it is fucking stupid to do it.
