Forcing Axl to go to the studio is never a good option... you don't do anything right or even do it sometimes when you're forced... that will only delay things.

The only way to get new music... is somehow leave Axl feeling confortable with his work and management and then the Label approaching him for negotiations...Once the negotiations are done, we can hope for new music

It's funny that Live Era could have been better without the re-done vocals and also some slash's re-done parts....

If you check the bootlegs for the original versions, you can see that his voice is in perfect condition...Don't understand why he did it, especially since his voice when he did re-record wasn't in the shape that it was in 1990-1992... it was already kinda micky mouse...

The Oh My God song that came out on End of Days soundtrack IS a demo... Axl had an agreement with his label to make this song for the soundtrack, but he wasn't able to finish it in time. I believe this demo was taken out directly from a tape where Axl had the song.

Even if you buy the cd, you'll notice the production is kind of bad, the sound is not very well distributed in the song...which kinda confirms my theory that it was taken from a demo tape. Also, it has all the characteristics of a demo, if you notice, it sounds like all the sounds in the song are pretty much on the same "Channel/Layer", you can't really notice any volume differences between the some sounds and others, and you hardly can hear the fantastic solo that the song has.

Shame on Axl for not finishing the song in time for the Soundtrack. I don't think this song will come out on a future album. There might be another version of it, but it will probably come out as an extra track on a single cd or something like that, and it might be played on the next tour.

I agree with this! I loved Chinese Democracy. Can't say it's at the same level as the other GNR records, but it's a great record! Great songs! Some of them are quite epic... Better and Catcher in the Rye for example. So i don't understand why is it so dificult for Axl to release some of this songs. I mean even just one like Motley Crue did. The Record company excuses are becoming really lame at this point...

On topic, it's pretty cool that Jarmo was invited (I'm assuming) to hang out with them. You guys can say whatever you want about the dude, but he loves the band, so for him I'm sure it was a pretty awesome opportunity. It would be a cool memory to have.
