  1. It's rather odd to trash a car you don't even own, if he was just trying it out before he bought it why would he keep it on a multi year lease? It doesn't take long to figure out if that's the car you want to buy or not.

I don't think I'd be surprised if he was broke. He lives a pretty lavish lifestyle and over the past 10-15 years you have to figure he was spending more money then he was making. Taking so long to make Chinese Democracy didn't help and if he was paying the other band members out of pocket well... Maybe not broke but definately not as rich as he once was. When was the last time he was really relevant? I doubt he's getting huge checks on a regular basis anymore.

This isn't the first time he's been sued for not making payments. If he had the money, I can't see him not paying. He isn't a deadbeat. (i don't think he is at least)

I don't know, just my thoughts.

  2. It's a good question.

To answer it, you have to look at artists similar to Guns N' Roses who are selling out venues this size.

    Which would be?

I don't know. I was hoping someone else would provide that kind of info.

Do Metallica shows sell out? Do AC/CD shows sell out?

If yes, what are those bands doing that Axl isn't?

Metallica sell out EVERY FUCKING show, in every country, in every corner of the world. They just finished a ~125 venue tour for Death Magnetic for which I was fortunate enough to see in Boston last year. I can't really describe it besides saying its electric - the atmosphere in there. They're doing an encore this year with about 40 stops all around Europe. They LOVE their fans and it shows. Who else as big as Metallica does a fucking show in Zagreb, Croatia? Other reason's they pack their fans in to the rafters after 25 years while Axl scrounges to get 6k in a place:

    - they are still mostly intact save for Newsted

    - they just put out an incredible album

    - they do interviews

    - they tour every year, album or not

    - they respect the fans by going on at 9 or 9:15 every night

    - they don't cancel shows

    - they do meet and greets for every show

    - they post soundboard recordings of every show on their site for $10

    -James is not an asshole.

In other words, aside from doing great music, they are really in touch with their fans and show as much respect for them as the fans do by showing up. Axl is the complete opposite in every way. He's clinging on to a career that's been shattered by his own ego, narcissism and delusional ways and then tried to deflect all of it in his posts as Dexter by claiming ZERO responsibility for the break up. The fucking balls on this guy.

As much as I love Axl, you are very accurate. I just wanna add ONE POINT:

once again, album promotion. Metallica did a video for a lot of singles and did a better job promoting this record than chinese. Axl refuses to listen or read posts like this because he just can't take any heat. If he did admit to SOME FAULT and apologize to the fans for chinese taking so long, and if he apologized for the breakup to SOME degree, he would have won people back. PR WISE, slash has done a much better job than Axl, which is why more people side with him in the first place.

I agree with almost everything, except for being like Slash. He's fucking weird, change his stories all the time and play with rap guys. :tongue2:

Well I think you took it a little out of context...First off, I didn't say he was "like slash". Slash did a better job PR WISE, since you don't understand this concept let me explain more. Slash has done plenty of interviews and has actually apologized to GNR fans. If you apologize for something, people can forgive. Axl won't do that, he just makes excuses. If Axl did a public TV interview and said "I'm sorry the oiginal line-up is no longer together, and I'm sorry for making you all wait forever fo chinese. Here is what happened from my perspective", he would have won people over Slash. More people would side with him and support this new band, and Slash would be the lesser of two evils. People just wouldn't be anti-axl and he'd have more support from GNR fans.

"Plays with rap guys", sounds like your older(no offense, sorry I'm only 20). Slash may not be impressing you because your from a different generation, but for MY generation, whether you can accept it or not or you like it or not, he's reinvented himself a little. He's gotten major stars to appear on his album, and a majority of them (pussycat dolls, fergie) are popular now and relevant. If Axl did like a duet on the side with a Britney Spears or a Pink, or a Lady Gaga, it would be amazing BUSINESS for him because he would reinvent himself with the younger generation such as myself, then by promoting and creating more commercials for chinese democacy, record sales and general interest in the band would increase. A lot of younger people my age who don't identify or really know guns n roses, would all of a sudden become fans. And could probably even care less of whos in th band or not, just that the music is good. And because their younger like me, theywouldn't have the attachment issues some of you have wit the old line-up. It is to my understanding these have been presented to Axl and like always, he just hides from the public and does what he wanna does.

Honestly, it probably would do him some good. A duet with Lady Gaga wouldn't be bad.

  3. it is

that section number is just for the arena to keep track of how many GA tickets have been sold

k good. so if I show up before everyone, then I am getting in first?

I know that's a stupid question, just want to make sure, since I'm going such a long way.

It's probably gonna be first come first serve. Most concerts have separate lines for the floor and regular seating.
