  1. C'mon, Axl! Open it up with 'This I Love'. That song gets me so pumped!

As much as I want this song in the show ("This I Love" is the song from CD I want most in the show), I think the song is way too slow as a GNR show starter. Plus there isn't any guitar or drums until the middle of the song.

I honestly wouldn't be satisfied unless Jungle opens the show. That song was made to open the show.

When I think about it more though, the Chinese Democracy riff is a good opener.

Yeah but if they opened with the song "Chinese Democracy" they most likely wouldn't open with the riff, but they would open with the sound effects. Actually, I think the sound effects are a good way to open the concert, not as good as Jungle though.

  2. I've always wondered is "Sweetest Thing" a cover song because it doesn't sound like a U2 original. If it is a cover song, who originally did it? It's one of my favorite U2 songs, but I basically just know the hits.

But I like their cover of The Beatles "Helter Skelter" though. I've also heard that they do a cover of "Happiness Is A Warm Gun", where can you find that?

  3. Here's some of my favorite album closers:

Good Night (by The Beatles, album: The Beatles)

    Darkness (by Disturbed, album: Believe)

Strictly Genteel (by Frank Zappa, album: 200 Motels)

Sofa #2 (by Frank Zappa, album: One Size Fits All)

Whatsername (by Green Day, album: American Idiot)

Macy's Day Parade (by Green Day, album: Warning)

Rocket Queen (by Guns N Roses, album: Appetite For Destruction)

The Ocean (by Led Zeppelin, album: Houses Of The Holy)

Numb (by Linkin Park, album: Meteora)

Solider Side (by System Of A Down, album: Hypnotize)

Overrated (by Three Days Grace, album: Three Days Grace)

Won't Get Fooled Again (by The Who, album: Who's Next)

  4. I heard they released an actual CD version of the "Live From The Jungle" EP. How much would that be worth because it would be something I would be interesting in eventually obtaining?

Of course it would depend if it was the promo or regular version. I've only ever seen one promo version so that would be quite damaging to your finances. As for the regular version it depends on the condition. If it had the obi strip and was in mint condition I would say at least $75-$100. Sealed I would say $150+. If you just want it for the songs (as opposed to condition) you could probably get one for under $50.

I would just want a regular copy that's used, has a case, but wouldn't necessarily have to have the obi strip. Something like you would see at a Half Price Books. So would that be like $75-$100 usually?

  5. A setlist with "This I Love" would be awesome. I'd also love to see "Live And Let Die" live since I loved the Wings version for many years and the GNR cover is just as good. Most important for me, since "Mr. Brownstone" is my all-time favorite GNR song, it would be wicked if it was one of the encores. But it seems like it's always stuck towards the beginning of the show, unfortunately.
