  1. Is it really considered a name change when a woman takes her husband's name? If so, I changed my name twice by getting married, but I also changed my name, legally, back to my maiden name after the 1st divorce. I had to ask the court's permission. So, maybe, I've had 3 name changes. 2 were the same name.

  2. It's not as easy to bribe hotel workers these days. Jobs are harder to come by. And, there are cameras everywhere. I know hotel workers, cell phone workers, etc. and, they don't bribe as easily as they did in the olden days. They have a lot more to lose. Sorry.

    :(

  3. Hmmm...

My reaction as well. Raises some interesting questions if it is her.

    Ali

It is her, and I think it shows she's pretty cool.:shrugs: I contacted her once to ask permission to post her old modeling photos on this board and was completely friendly and sweet about it. And I know she's been hassled and harassed over the years by lunatic GNR fans.

Well, I know several women, including my own mother, who have been in abusive relationships, and not one of them have ever or would ever support, either personally or professionally, their abuser. They may have made peace with the situation, but that does not entail support either personal or professional. And, yes, I think going to someone's show is showing professional support.

    Good answer!! ;)

  4. Yes, you will want more! I am looking to see if I can afford tickets to the Nashville show as I speak...lol! The ATL show was mind-blowing, I had waited for 24 years to see them. My daughters gave me tickets for my birthday and I told them this was the best present EVER!!

  5. Sorry, my FB name is: Debbie Britt Broadway. Just find me and look at my photos. I'm on my iPhone and I don't know how to post the pics on here from it. I will add you if you send a friend request.

    :)

The shirts are soft and the men's L is pretty big. I bought a XXL hoodie and it is huge. I like mine big.

The tee is a Hanes, which is a good brand, and 100% cotton, probably don't want to dry on high. The hoodie is made in Pakistan but, really soft and warm. It has been cool here the past 2 days.

  6. Do you really think that the staff is going to give you info? No. They have confidentiality clauses with celebrities. You could ask for the Easter Bunny and get just as much info. Lol!

  7. Ron posted that he was on a bus to Houston just a few hours after the show. It is a 26 hour drive from GA to TX. I lived in Texas. My guess is there was no after-show in Atlanta. :(

    Sorry.

But, I could be wrong. It happened once before. Lmao!

P.S. The show was over at 1:45am and I walked back to my hotel about 5 blocks away, I got in at about 3. These guys that I met at the concert stopped and ate on their way back to the hotel, and they got in at 4. My guess? Your friend stopped and ate on the way back.

  8. Go to my FaceBook to see the hoodie, beanie and tee that I bought. The shirts that were sold outside the venue were a lot cheaper but, they were also NOT the same ones. They had slight lettering imperfectiions or dates were wrong on the tour dates. They didn't have hoodies either. Oh, and the hoodies are the zip up kind so they are worth paying a little more, in my opinion. (I'm usually a cheapskate! Lol)

Oh, and yes, they took credit cards at the Atlanta show, too.

  9. You know, most bands play their "old" hits at their shows. Go to see AC/DC, KISS, BonJovi... They all play their new songs with their "staples" mixed in to keep the crowds happy. It doesn't necessarily make them a nostalgic act just because they do this. I know some bands are just out there to play to the classic fan but, I saw with my own eyes that people are embracing and enjoying Guns N' Roses' new music. I am talking about CD, I know it's not new to us but, to the general public it is and I was thrilled to see how the crowd sang along and went crazy for it. I am an older fan, and this was my first time seeing them live. I had been waiting for 24 years...but, it was worth it and I was glad to hear all of the CD music in the show. I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was. I love CD and think it is a true Guns N' Roses album. Anyway..,my opinion is that the shows should be: "old staples" mixed in with fresh new music. And, keep touring and Rocking the house!!

  10. Saw ATL, it was epic! Axl was awesome! They came on around 10:45pm (not exact, I forgot my watch) and played like crazy until around 1:45am (again, no watch). They played old songs and new. Both sounded equally awesome and everyone seemed to really enjoy being there, audience and band. It was a long time dream come true for me and I was not disappointed. Axl looked fantastic! And DJ is gorgeous! Bumblefoot is the man! He made my night, he knows what I mean. All in all, an awesome night that I will never forget! Well, not until the Alzheimer's kicks in anyway.

If you can, see them! I am looking to see where I can see them again!!

  11. I bought the $80 hoodie at the ATL show. I can post a pic if anyone wants to see it. I also bought a short sleeved North American Tour Tee and a Beanie for my nephews. I will post pics of those, too. They were $40 and $30, respectively. My daughter was amazed that I paid that much for a hoodie but, it's not just a hoodie, it's a Guns N' Roses hoodie! Can't be a cheapskate there!! Lol.

I thought $80 was pretty good, actually. I was prepared to pay $100 for a hoodie. I'm addicted to them. I can get a tee anytime.

  12. Yes, we were the best crowd EVER! Why? Because we are from GA and we gave them some of our down-home, southern hospitality! And, Axl thanked us for it and we appreciated the great show that Guns N' Roses put on. It was a dream come true for me. I had waited for 24 years to see Axl come back to GA and he was damn sure worth the wait!! And, the rest of the group was sweet icing on the cake! Bumblefoot made my night. He is the man! A great night all around and one I won't soon forget!!
