  1. Not sure if anyone has posted this or not I'm quickly skimming through the posts...but if Axl seriously wanted to avoid any of this getting into the hands of fans/public he has the $$$ to buy it, which yes is ironic and funny because he'd be giving Erin the $$$ but I guess there's a price to pay if you want this stuff to stay as private as possible??? He can either not give a shit about any of it or get whatever the hell he does give a shit about...

  2. "oh yeah... he's so badass he doesn't follow the norm.... yeeeeah he rocks...yeaaah... "

    I mean get real people....

Andre, I'm not defending the guy or saying he's cool for doing what he's doing, I'm simply pointing out what he has said before about the fans holding their breath for him to actually do what a normal artist does: release new music and actually promote it properly. He's pretty much given us all a clear insight in the way he operates; the complete opposite to what we would all like...unfortunately it's who he is and how he does things...we have absolutely no say or control in the matter.

  3. If you're waiting...don't. Live your life. That's your responsibility not mine. If it were not to happen you won't have missed a thing. If in fact it does you might get something that works for you, in the end you could win on this either way. But if you're really into waiting try holding your breath for Jesus cause I hear the payoff may be that much greater.

This. From the man himself. Explains it all. Frustrating? Yes, but it's out of everyone's hands except one; Axl Rose and we know that he does not follow the norm when it comes to most things so don't hold your breath people. Continue living your life and IF something new gets released, great! My 2 cents.

  4. Well, never say never. Izzy, Duff, Brain and Robin all played with Guns N' Roses on 2010.

Which show did Robin play in 2010? Any videos or images? Would love to see some!

Manets is a little wrong there. These are the shows that each former member played (they were not all in 2010):

    Duff: London O2 2010, Seattle 2011 and LA 2011

Izzy: London O2 2012 (both nights), London surprise club gig 2012, Vegas 2012 (last two nights)

    Robin: House Of Blues 2012

    Brain: House Of Blues 2012

    Thank you!!

  5. I think like a lot of people Axl reacts on impulse; I do the same thing where you get so angry/annoyed etc about a particular situation and react too quickly but once you have the chance to calm down and think about alternative solutions you realize the first reaction wasn't necessarily the right one...thus why he perhaps has tweeted, posted etc and then blamed it on hackers...

  6. I think I would just do whatever Axl does, it would be the only insight into how his mind/life works. No point doing what I would do because that would be me not him. However I would like two sets of 24hrs, one whilst he is on tour with the band and one during his downtime at home.

    This.

  7. God, can the guy go out on the town without a bunch of gay Gok Wan wannabes trying to give him fashion and fitness advice? No wonder rock music's in the sad state it is if even a Guns N' Roses forum seems more like a fucking Joan Rivers Oscar runway bitchfest.

    This.

  8. Dude, you've said your bit in the thread that just got locked, if it turns out to be true, that's cool and congrats on hearing it all before any other fans but stop trolling threads that have nothing to do with it...if it happens you can hang shit on everyone that did the same thing to you in your thread calling you liar...

  9. From what I saw from the 2 shows in 07 to the show last week, this lineup has a better energy about it; I remember at one point during WTTJ just enjoying the whole visual aspect of it because all of the band (bar maybe Tommy) were really into it and moving around the stage; I didn't get that feeling in 07. So for me they are both visually and musically pretty spot on atm. In regards to DJ, give the guy a break, he does what he wants to do and makes an effort to interact; he even went to the upper level at this years show to play for a guy in a wheelchair which I thought was pretty decent of him...

  10. Apart from Nice Boys it's the same as the 17th, we had Glad to be here, Dont Cry, KOHD and Nightrain. Then encore Patience & PC.

No Seeker on the 17th, more similar to the 16th show in setlist except Bil Gibbons appeared which is pretty cool.

I feel really down now that it's over & who knows when we will see them again. I could watch the whole concert again and again live, the longer it went the more you got into it rather than getting tired & wishing it would end. Does anyone else feel that letdown when it's over?

Yeah i felt exactly the same; i didn't want the show to end! Who knows if and when they will come out again...

  11. A blurry pic? here is the full video, and you can see it in 1080p.Axl has lost nearly all his hair at least at this side.Check the video from 5:20 to 5:29, but there are other moments that you can see there is no hair over there.

    stop the video at 5:31.

So Axl is again in a lose/lose situation:

    - either he puts hat, fans are not happy because we can't see his face

    - or he puts no hat, fans are over analyzing his hair and are not happy because he does not have his 30' hairstyle

    - or he puts braids, fans are not happy because it's not his hair

I join the fans who are worried about his voice when we know he is capable of far better, but come on, what is this topic?

Agreed! I'm only 27 and I've completely changed hair, weight from my early 20s let alone Axl who is past 50! I mean come on guys yes we're all fans and part of it is to pretty much look at everything but this shit gets past the point of ridicolous...

  12. Just got the email for this too; pity they haven't added the option to the second Melbourne show, but at the same time is it worth buying when Axl won't be there, plus 2 of the points are basically not 100% available anyway so kind of pointless unless you sincerely wish to meet the rest of the band.

Not trying to be negative about it, but if you're going to offer VIP Packages to try and copy what other bands do then at least do it right and have the whole band there; obviously it will cost alot more than $189; for example KISS is charging (which to some people is an absolute rip-off and joke) $1500 just for the meet and greet and then you have to purchase a ticket on-top of that...But at least you meet all the guys, get to talk for a few minutes, get 2 items signed and a photo taken with them too, plus a bunch of other stuff...

my point is, KISS do it properly and not half-assed, all be it with one hell of a price tag...

  13. A friend of mine who works at the hard rock got me the American flag version and one of his staff only t-shirts with the original banned artwork...was bummed that I wasn't able to fly over to catch a show and maybe get backstage but this is still a pretty cool addition to the collection!
