I guess what I'm trying to say is, If the voice distortion used was more 'Oh My God', I think that I'd enjoy it a bit more. I find myself struggling with the layers that have been implemented. But I want to iterate this is a ME problem and I probably am just jaded and being whiny. The instrumentals are fantastic. As far as individual's issues with Slash, it's hard to take something that wasn't yours and make it your own. Slash has always been a feeling type of guitarist. It's clear that almost 90% of these songs are supposed to be more industrial/electronic rock. It makes me miss the Bucket lineup so badly. But who am I to look Aristotle in the face and tell him his opinions suck? Who would I be to tell Michelangelo painting naked children on a ceiling isn't very pc? I'm a nobody. 

Well I've been around for a very long time, past the d-o-b of this account, and I can say with all my heart because I'm the biggest Axl supporter there is, The General is extremely overproduced and needs to be reworked. I love the beat of Monsters but if I took the song and asked myself "Would it fit on a GNR album?", I'd say, "no". Now if they made a darker album and threw Oh My God on there with Monsters, I could see that working. But for me, these songs are so overproduced and ultimately this is what happens when you have almost twenty years to adjust and noodle with art. Eventually, you ask yourself "Is it my art anymore?". Sometimes, less is more.

Is it me, or does Estranged sound like it was dropped down? It's definitely being played a lot slower than normal.

Hard School is good but I'm looking for more T.W.A.T. / Catcher. Bring on Soul Monster.

All I want is new material. At this point the concerts have become seminars. When I hear a guns show is starting I actually hear “three hour meeting starts now”.

I wish they’d just hang it up and focus on albums but we all know how that’d go.

I used to defend this band religiously with Volcano. I can’t anymore. I just can’t. 

I honestly don’t want to hear any new material. They looked bored and sounded sloppy. Frank ruins everything and Fortus trying to shred is cringeworthy as hell. I’m just tired of this band. Thank God I found TOOL.

Nah fuck later. It’s 2019 and they’ve been pulling this shit for three years. 

Thank god TOOL will be touring their new album this year. You can’t rely on these guys anymore.
