    Basically a whining song directed towards the haters of the new band and filled to the brim with autotune.

    Worst song on CD and one of the worst GNR songs of all time. Thank god for TIL.

    100% agree with you. I just can't get into this song...IMO the beginning is just awful, lyrics rival NR for cheesiness…but that is my opinion…I am glad others like it but for me it just doesn’t do it…and the autotune…yikes this Axl singing right not Jamie fox.

    As far as the meaning of the song it sounds to me he doesn’t want to sell out and prostitute himself out like others…

    Okay guys I just got back home (yes I made it home in fifteen minutes). I will recap the events that I witnessed.

    When I got to the hotel it was somewhere around 8:00 PM, I hung outside and smoked a cigarette looking at the eye candy. And let me tell you there was plenty of it. Went inside and had three drinks ($70 with tip) and tried to hob-nob with some of these fucks. You can tell that most where mamas boys and the crowd seemed out of touch, out of sync with the rest of the world. This was a very elite crowd, very pretentious. The kind of people that merely go places to be seen rather than enjoy the experience. Of course you can see right through many of these people as they seem like the type with ego issues. I hear a lot of bragging and name dropping. I am sure you know the type.

    Anyway within maybe half an hour I see Ron and his wife, who was dressed to impress walking towards me as I was at this point standing near the entrance. I said "hey Ron", he turned to me and said whats up and gave me his hand to shake. I thought this was a wonderful gesture. Anyway we started making conversation as Ron professed that he was going to go have his Valentines day dinner with his wife. He told me he will see me soon during the show. I told him my girlfriend was mad at me because I decided to come to the event rather than spend time with her on Valentines day. He asked me why I did not bring her and I told him that she is Korean and it is Chinese New Year. Him and his wife laughed and he wished me and my gf a happy valentines day and I returned the favor. He and his wife then went off.

    Maybe twenty minutes after that I saw someone that looked like Frank but I could not confirm it so I waited till I got a good close look and it was him. I was not able to say hi to him until a little later (after everyone got kicked out who was not a guest at the Hotel) actually when I saw him outside again with Fortus who shook my hand as I stood by the entrance. I simply asked them both how they were and they both replied in a kind manner. They both stopped and talked with a few people standing outside as well that did not appear to be part of the "elite".

    I started making meaningless conversation with one of Ashba's friends who were standing outside smoking cigarettes dressed like some Motley Crue nightmare, I am 100% sure he was actually on the phone with Ashba and I saw them basically in the center of the action.

    Sometimes reality is a bitter pill to swallow....

    I lol'ed at that comment.

    I bet you realized it would have been better spending time with your girl and not a bunch of pretentious fucks. Thanks for the update though.

    I am a pretentious fuck myself, it just happens that there were a lot bigger fish then me. I was relatively low on the totem-pole with this crowd. I dont think I saw two guys under the height of 6'2. Of course I was one of those guys. But I know what type of people these are, I deal with them every day. They are no any happier then rest of us, and in most cases they are far, far worse off.

    And actually I would prefer to spend less time with my girlfriend. After 3.5 years I want to fuck anyone but her, and most people would drop their balls off at the cleaners to be fucking her.

    Any paparazzi hanging out there?

    It is a beautiful crowd I fit right in but I have no reservations, I met a couple of nice girls then I see one of them getting a cab and then a bunch of people surround her and ask her for pictures. I have no idea who she was but I have seen some faces I recognize. Again let me reiterate how hot some of these girls are. I dressed up fir this event cause I knew this was gonna be a pretentious crowd and it is.

    Why are you so obsessed with the record sales of CD. You act like it’s a personal insult to you that it didn’t debut at #1. Can’t you be happy that Guns delivered a great record for the fans and are now touring. Things couldn’t look better for GnR fans.

    Sheesh! Who gives a fack! Band’s happy fan’s happy what more do you want.

    Have you seen the no talent fucks that claim #1 in the charts? Not the type music that I want Guns associated with.

    i'm happy the record came out. but nothing came with it. the things i talk about came with the illusions in 91. i expected the same coming with the new record. the same comfort. the same formula for success. the same pattern. axl didn't give it to me. didn't give it to the fans. bob dylan latest album debut #1. bob dylan old enough to be axl's grandfather crushed chinese democracy. bob dylan beat axl on the charts. bob dylan debut #1. what about the new guns record? what about axl? i've been cheated. i've seen the talentless bands. but, bob dylan debut #1. makes me feel jaded. makes me know even stronger axl didn't 'man up' on this record

    Bob a different story. That guys catalogue has spanned generations, this equates to more fans. You can’t compare Guns to Bob. Guns where on top of the hill for maybe 5 solid years, while Bob has been giving new stuff for fans generations after generation. The success of CD just goes to show how much impact GnR had in those short years on top.

    But I think I know what you’re getting at. What you wanted was to see a bunch of interviews with Guns. See GnR on the cover of the rolling stones. Just wanted alot more buzz about CD.

    The sizzle with the steak. Ya I will concede that we didn’t get much sizzle.

    But I’m really happy where GnR is right now. Maybe as the tour picks up more steam GnR will loosen up and start giving us more sizzle.

    AMAZING!

    This is when GnR was at their rawest. This is the group that had the fuck the world attitude and gave birth to AFD. I'm pretty sure they were still starving musicians at the time of this recording. IMO this is the true GnR when they had nothing but themselves and their music. No money, no fame, no politics bull shit, not a care in the world just living for the moment.

    Saw it I thought it was funny. Love TMZ as cheese and corny as it is it always makes me laugh. Of course it's all fabricated stories and crap taken out of context. But again it's funny, just don't take it so seriously.

    Lighten up guys it's just a joke! Seesh! :P

    This is just a very cleverly edited package of other video shots set to Mr. Brownstone. Half the time what Axl appears to be singing doesn’t match the song. Also the guitar definitely does not match the song. I call fake but it is fun to watch though.
