Ugh. What does "best" even mean.
Slash clearly best for GNR. Hands down, no debate. Best for the blues influenced/rock style GNR grittiness. Combination of penatonic, non-diatonic chords have a unique style that fits perfectly for GNR.
Izzy song writing/style.
Buckethead best technical guitar, most creative, most tools in his belt. But I would not label him as "best" for GNR. Plug him into the Stones or Beatles hes automatically the "best" guitarist but best for the band, no way.

The pic is weird. Axl is too short, he seems paunchy, his arm is too long and too thin...
Photo must be warped to some degree. Look how tiny and square his feet look relative to his legs too. Is this doctored??

He's on L a t i g o Canyon Road, not Malibu Canyon.

Interesting to see the progression of YCBM.
Beginning of the leg they didn't even play it (assuming for the vocal)...now at the end Axl belted it! Leaving it all out there!

Technically he's better now for sure - he's learned a lot over the years. Emotion is subjective though and I feel he had a lot more in his younger days and it shows in his playing, posturing, etc.

Fantastic to listen to as always, thanks Sid.
I found it interesting Slash didn't use the stunt-double in Estranged. I was also confused because of "The Making of..." video didn't explain the double was just a tester for insurance. Slash mentioned in an interview that he did it without the double and I thought he was lying.

Someone please just download the full show off YouTube, then it'll be in the public forum forever

Axl bartended? Can't picture him listening to picky customer demands.

Wouldn't someone just rip the content and post to YouTube rendering everyone's subscriptions useless?

France '92 for the epic Civil War
Tokyo '92 for Estranged. Purple blazer for daysss
Hammerstein '06 for TWAT (I was there and still can't believe it).
Hartford '17 (I was there front row!)

Went to two awesome shows:
- Metlife Stadium (first show): Axl wished Slash Happy Birthday. Gorgeous summer night with a HUGE crowd.
- Hartford: PROSTITUTE played for the first time, Axl and Slash were very loose and jovial. Slash did walking hand stands after the bow like the old days. 4tus hit me with TWO picks but I couldn't get them in the craziness of the pit. Great times.

Tonight's the night Hartford!!

If this is a discussion on the beginning of the end. The seeds of the end were planted when Axl demanded full control. Obviously losing Adler and Izzy hurt. Not to mention they never saved funding from their concert tours. MANY other un-doings.
Personally I would have loved to see the full blown bloated show. Arguably their peak. The Skin And Bones tour almost seemed to be lacking, in comparison.
