  1. Why do they prefer to play Patience more often over Don't Cry? Or why no play both? Don't Cry is one of their greatest hits and one of the easiest songs for Axl to sing. I know Patience is also easy to sing for Axl but why no Don't Cry over one of those many covers. Just saying...

  2. I don't care having Melissa on stage. If she's value or not to the band is irrelevant to me compared to Axl's current voice and shape. I would have seven Melissas, Tracy, Roberta, Beta and Fernando backing up vocals and playing whatever instrument they like as long as Axl could sing at least as he did back in 2016. The lead voice is broken. He can't even complete some verses.

Watching the PC from Napa, sad that they couldn't finish the song. It's not everyday that you can have Dave Grohl on stage. But I'm sure the band didn't know the power was off from stage. I can see Axl even singing the "Napa, thank you, good f*ckn night!" at the end. Can't find the Patience video with Pink!

  3. I voted for the vault to be released because:

    • AFD line up: not really seeing happening, the band still not trust in Steven and Izzy is not that interested in being part of (apparently the loot is not divided evenly).
    • New album: Don't see it coming ever. Why? 'Cause the perfect window for that album is almost over. The pandemic is getting over with the vaccination and tours are about to return, so this past year was the perfect window to make and release the album and it would be a great hype for the returning of the tour.
    • Reworked set list with deep cuts: well, I honestly don't know how good will be for us, the fans, to hear songs like perfect crime, back off bitch, or move to the city with current Axl's Mickey Mouse voice. I'd rather stay with the old memories of those songs with Axl's great 90's voice. Although some deep cuts could be added with current Axl's voice that don't require rasp, like You Ain't the First, So Fine, Since I Don't Have You or Bad Obsession.
    • Release the vault: I guess we all the hardcore fans have been waiting for those unreleased tracks and pro shots of epic concerts with some rarities like the Prague 92 with the Don't Cry with the alternate lyrics. By how things are now, with the official release of the Houston 2016 concert in 4K with great sound and more realistic sounds (more ambient sound and not just the band isolated sound) I would be more than happy. Oh and the live album of the NITL.
    • New management: I don't see this affecting much with the current state. Remember, it all ends with Axl's last word anyway.
  4. Almost sure they wont. TBH I don't see Axl singing this song with an acceptable voice. He was struggling all 2017 with the rasp and to hear SOYL with the Mickey Mouse voice, I'd prefer they play You Ain't the First, 14 Years, The Garden or other songs without the rasp so he could rest his voice and nail it on the "rasp ones". Plus, SOYL is a fast song and with Axl's current condition it would be a challenge, like Locomotive or Garden of Eden.

  5. Don't get me wrong: Gn'R are my all-time fav band, and Appetite is my all-time fav album, and I'm excited that it will be remastered but hell, no way I'll spend $ 1K on a box set that will probably be stored in a closet in 6 months, and barely will be seen. I know a true fan will proly spend it, and I respect it, but with that 1K I could easy catch one of their shows in Europe and spend some days knowing a new country there (oh, and buy the digital tracks of course).

Personally, for me it works with digitals files since music I hear is from my phone or my Hi-Res Sonos speakers at home (Deezer on my car, or USB stick some times). I think having all the tracks in Hi-Res will be enough. All memorabilia is surely cool, but tbh I will use it once or twice, and then to the closet.

And, all is reduced to Axl's will. I guess he's not in shape nowadays to record a new album so expect more overpriced remastered albums in the future. HELL, I WOULD LOVE A 4K RELEASE OF THE 2016 HOUSTON CONCERT, that will be way better since it will be a new release with the reunion live show.

  6. Piñatas are a very important part of Mexico's culture, and don't really means always your'e hitting something or someone you hate (not saying this was the case) ie: kids ask for piñatas of their favorite characters for their birthdays. If they did it was because they give Mexican people what they wanted. Is not intended to offend a country. I'm from Guatemala and we do all the time joke about our president (who happens to be a former clown and so-called actor with no experience) and it doesn't offend the country at all. I think the band did to give an expression to their fans who are very pissed about Trump's comments (that by the way nobody mentioned the true offences he made about a whole country and latinos).

Is entertainment, just a show, as Axl would say in UTLH: "Take it for what it is". Peace. (BTW: I'm not a Trump supporter nor a Hillary supporter and actually believe Trump is going to make a good part as president).

  7. Just now, tata said:

I was there too. Went from Guatemala just for the concert but get to know the producer whom took them to Costa Rica and had a blast (didn't make to meet the band, sadly). Axl sounded amazing for most of part of the concert and Slash was the showstopper imo. Anyone else noticed how slash made mistakes in some songs in Costa Rica? People were awesome, rocked although the rain, Axl was super friendly and happy saying hi to everyone (even to fans on the highest rows).

Although I was there for less than 24 hours I get to see how amaizing the country is, but must important how incredible ticos are. Everyone there was so so so so friendy, people are polite and very respectul. As with any concert of this magnitude, a lot of people of other near contries travel to see those bands. People from other countries (like mine, sadly) left some places dirt and trash on floors and I witnessed may ticos (civilians, no staff) picking trash from floors and the park around the stadium and placing it on trash bins. Thats amazing, the people left the place clean. TICOS ROCKS!

Oh and forgot to mention the bad part of the concert: no fireworks or pyro at all! The producer told me that there was a restriction by the local government about using fireworks and pyro and they try to negotiate but didn't happen.

  9. They should go on with Perfect Crime since its one of the alternative songs they have ready for any gig. Truth is this tour is more nostalgic than CD songs, its enough with Better and Chinese. They could also bring other songs to give Axl a break to his voice, like Bad Obsesion, You Ain't the First, The Garden, Dust N' Bones, Locomotive...

  10. Hello everyone! This is my first post, I´m member since about a week ago.

I live in Guatemala and we get really frustrated since the april 13th. concert was cancelled. No info about refunds here.

Now, there´s a rumor here about Axl mentioning during last night concert in Puerto Rico something about rescheduling both Guatemala and Costa Rica shows. Is that true? Someone who was there please confirm/deny.

The low tickets sales is a lie, here are a lot more than 3,000 people wondering about tickets refunds. We think producers from Costa Rica and the promoter from here has the blame, and low ticket sales is just a lie.

    Thanks!
