  1. The last few gigs have all had their trouble but it seems like people arent really willing to put up with this shit any more, at reading they turning off the sound off, leeds set being cut short and of course the walk out in belfast.

Its just seems to me that people arent going to put with his shit anymore. i love this band, I think chinese democracy is a great album and when they (finally) hit the stage they blow almost everybody else away.

alot of the problems seems to stem from axl's inability just to get on stage on time its always an hour or 2 hours late dont get me wrong throwing a bottle is a big no no.

what your thoughts? people who where there.

I do feel the press gives a worse impression of events than what really happen but doesnt that always seem to be the case, alsways somebody else to blame?

  2. mmmmmmmmmmmm 5 overrated individuals........can i cheat and name a few bands? yeah fuck it i will.

1)Kiss............wat a fucking waste of blood and skin, only thing these fuckers care about is money.

2)Kurt Cobain.......I like him and his music but why the demi god status?

3)Chris Cornell..........some of soundgardens stuff was good, same with audioslave but he's voice grates on my especially live, and most of hs songs i just dont like.

4)Rolling stones...... not having written a decent ablum since the early 80's is not what i'd call the greatest rock n roll band of all time, its old timers who should just sit down and have a cup of tea. (keith is still cool as fuck tho)

5)jim morrison..........started out so well then he got fat

  3. love that band got into them in high school bout 1999/2000 got jerry's solo stuff first then aic. Personallly in britain they should have been bigger but people just saw the drugs not the cool riffs, amazing vocals and harmony's ect shame but they didnt make a bad album.

  4. on a guns forum we all kno who's gonna win :xmasssanta: all those albums are worth a listen. Song of the year either geraldine or fuck you its over by glasvegas, who are without doubt one of the best new bands around!!!

  5. if its his band how can he tarnish it?

although the original was a group effort i dont think his tarnishing anything. Give the guy credit with trying to move forward. Id still argue that alot more shit wud disappear if he used a different name but fuck if that what he wants to do then so be it. It great just to see the gnr name being used again.

  6. it takes a brave man to say ok ask me anything.............i salute you for that.

The picture at least its becoming a little clearer, I dont take wat any1 member says as gospel. The truth is in the middle of all the insluts and statements. I would argue that many during the 1994-1996 maybe slash did try and control the band in the sense that he would no longer be willing to compromise, this period inturn maybe is a reaction to the illusion period where axl was doing the same sortta thing. unstoppable force unmoveable object (thank you dark knight!!)

The biggest shame is that because of bad blood, bitching in the press, hidden meanings in songs ect that they dont get on and it will take a lot of talking face to face to clear the air and settle matters.

  7. well...........that was interesting!!! :tongue2: Nice of axl to answer some questions directly to the people who matter instead of the press (fuck em)

One thing that this thread has shown me is how scary some of the people on here really are....." axl i love you, you are my god" ect  .......his just a bloke, talented no doubt but he's still just a bloke.

im sure i speak for everyone when i say axl come back anytime for a chat lol

  8. get a live album any of then live at the olmpia (spelling?) was one of jeff's fav and its pretty magical especially halleujah. I love sketches could have been a great album, not sure if all the song on there would have made the album or what jeff would have written after.......shame he felt the need to go for a swim.

  9. Kiss have revealed they might be heading back to the studio soon to work on new tracks - despite previously saying they were concentrating on touring old material.

The band, who have been going round the globe for the past year playing hits, will be heading out to play shows in Europe and America soon - but haven't ruled out settling down to work on a new album.

Speaking to Classicrockmagazine.com lead singer Paul Stanley said: "There might even be a new Kiss album at some point. I have been ambivalent to the idea in the past but I'm much more open to it now.

"I thought that I'd be content for Kiss to remain a heritage act," he added, "just playing our greatest hits – 'Detroit Rock City' and all that. But the new Kiss line-up with Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer is proving to be so good, so strong in spirit, it would interesting to see how we perform in the studio."

Stanley added that although the band haven't scheduled any studio time as yet, if they did head back into record the songs would recall Kiss' trademark glam rock sound.

"If we were to go into the studio the intention would be to make a Kiss album in the style of our '70s recordings. A classic Kiss album, unmistakably," Stanley concluded.
