    And SCORPIONS too😆

Well, yeah :P Of course I meant bands that sing in German :D

Regarding the show: Just from the few videos I've seen I'm enjoying this more than the show in Prague last year that I've been to...his voice seems stronger here. Will be interesting to see where he goes from here ;)

I know they have fans all over the globe but I could never enjoy a band that doesn't speak the same language as myself.  Is that wrong?

Well the difference is that the music you were raised on and your native language matches. Here in Germany for example I would say at least 90% of the music people listen to is in English as well! Many German bands for example sing in English, not necessarily to be successful internationally, but they find it weird to sing in German, don't like German music, whatever. But also, given the success of Rammstein for example, it can't be too weird for the rest of the word to listen to German music. :P

  3. Nope, I don't believe there was a 10pm curfew. There is no official statement anywhere about this. The set lists with the alternates were common on past dates of the tour, so this should be pretty much be the list from yesterday. For whatever reason some songs were cut.

I read - one German GNR fan said that the concert had to end earlier because of the law in Germany ( he called it : neighbourhood law)

I call BS on that one unless they changed it in the last 3 years. AC/DC in 2015 played til ~11pm in the Olympiastadion Berlin, same in 2010. Also this law doesn't affect Open Air concerts where there are different curfews depending on the venue. It's about noise in your flat and stuff like that.

Do you really think Brian want to come back?

The man is almost 70 and he has been talking about his retirement since the Black Ice album came in 2008.

Many musicians talk about retirement, but standing on stage is like a drug, it is what keeps you alive. The reception of the fans, the adrenaline rush...

Look at the situation here. Everyone from the Back in Black Lineup ist still alive. The only one we need to unfortunately replace is Malcolm. They should just do it Rolling Stones style: smaller tours, like 10-20 dates, so that the fans can have a proper farewell. Maybe wishful thinkinng on my part, but in my opinion this is the only way proper way for AC/DC to finally end.

No offence, but I never understood the autograph concept. What's the point of having a piece of paper with someone's name on it?

Well I'm guilty of having some albums I get signed when I buy them at the show (smaller bands). Usually I just love talking to band members at smaller shows or drink a beer or two with them. That stuff is way more important to me than an autograph or a photo, but it's cool to have them.

  7. Everyone feels different at these concerts. It's great that people love it, I'm really happy for my friends, one of my friends said that this was the best thing he's seen since AC/DC in 2010. My firend's cousin said that was the best thing that happened in her life after her son (she couldn't go in 1993, parents didn't let her). Great moments for so many people. I just can't enjoy it, it distracts me from the whole experience. And I don't want to be mean, I only criticize stuff that I love. In this case it's more of an observation.

I finally had the heart to listen to some Axl/DC stuff, couldn't get into it last year, as I was really angry and sad of Brians departure and whatever the actual reasons where. But god damn did I get goosebumps just from watching these Youtube clips. The vocal performances on these songs are out of this world. I really hope this voice comes back to the GnR concerts at some point. Would be legendary.

  8. Was with friends at the Prague concert. I was the one who was both most pumped and most let down by the concert. Wanted it to be perfect. It basically was clean vocals for the whole time. Most of the time the screams weren't really raspy, but pressed, idk, maybe like Brian Johnson, but it doesn't fit Axl (hell, I love Brian Johnson xD).

So what can I say...was still a good show for me, as Axl was fucking happy, Slash and Duff where there, etc. etc. But all the excitement that was building up by seeing shows like Houston on YT, or the Axl/DC Clips, well...I feel rather disappointed. Not regretting going though.

Also I kinda start to feel like there is the Angus effect. Compare Rosie from Hannover to Prague, Hannover is pretty great, Prague...well we rocked the fuck out, so we didn't hear the vocals too clear, but the difference is like night and day. I really, really, really don't want to feel like this, but Vienna 2010 was the better concert for me. Regardless of the personnel on stage.

  9. Ahh I remember :D We weren't front row, had like 7-8 rows to the front and 5-6 to the catwalk, as the entrance was chaotic and not really good organized in my opinion. But we got a pretty good view of everything, whole stage in our view and at the height of the catwalk, so we could pretend that Axl, Slash or Duff are smiling directly at us :P I think you mean the guy who went to Munich and Hannover already? We met during lining up, I thought you two were there together :D  So yeah I hope you will have fun on Monday! Personally I need a little distance from everything right now, but I bet it will be fun for those attending.

  10. I was fucking pumped and hyped for the show. Having seen Guns in 2010 in Vienna with that killer voice, the bar was set pretty high. So in the end it was "just" a good show for me, as I didn't really like the clean singing and pressed vocals at some points. Maybe a medical issue, I don't know. The cool thing was the awesome set list and Axls smiles throughout the whole show. Never saw that before. Also he took a bow before the audience after every song. Slash was awesome, but hell Richard is a fucking great player as well. Maybe better than Slash from the technical side. Loved them both equally. Great to see Duff, one cool mofo. Loved the rest of the band as well, Melissas background vocals are pretty cool, Frank is a great drummer imo and I can't say anything bad about a piano player, as I love the piano, Dizzy is great!

Hope to see them again, hopefully indoor and with a return to form on the vocal side. Thinking about Vegas....^^

I know it's just a clip taken from a phone cam but sound quality seems to be pretty rough for the show....sounds like some major echo issues.

That's typical for the Olympic Stadium Munich. And one of the major reasons why I'm going to Prague to see them. As cool as the roof looks, it is not made for concerts.

  12. That one will definitely open. And is the better entrance for FOS tickets anyways. I just remembered the following: there were Fanclub tickets for AC/DC in 2009 (my first AC/DC concert, the Black Ice tour was so much better than ROB, getting nostalgic here...). These tickets guaranteed you a space in the FOS section when you arrived until 6PM or something. We went through the north entrance and right down the stairs in Front of the Stage. It seems pretty likely that this will be the procedure for you if you have FOS1 tickets :)

  13. Usually they let all people through the same gates and once you're in there are signs where to go. But you should ask the staff at the concert tomorrow, they might separate the crowd this time.

Usually 90% of the people line up at the North Entrance and basically no one lines up at the South entrance even though they usually open both. (AC/DC 2015). It just so happens that the North Entrance is the first you see when you come to the Stadium. Everyone at the North entrance, once inside the stadium has to run all the way back to the south anyways und then once in the GA area run to the front of the stage  :D So the people in the South Entrance only had half the way to run in the end.

That leads me to the prediction, that it will be like this: North Entrance (nearest to the stage): FOS1 and FOS2, South Entrance: General Admission. There were no FOS tickets for AC/DC, so lining up at the South was better, but this time it would be better to double check.

Anyways: have fun at the concert tomorrow, even though this is the nearest to me I'm waiting until Prague. Doing only one show and it should be special. Even though it is nice that Munich was featured in the Estranged video, the sound suffers at times because of the roof. It's not too bad for people standing, but there could be too much echoing when you are sitting under the roof. It's probably nothing that will spoil the experience for anybody, but it is definitely not the best sounding location on this tour.

  14. I've read a few times over here, that tickets get "upgraded". And you said this happened during the show. How does this work? Is there some guy coming to your seat and giving you better ones? I've never seen something like that in Europe, so I wonder if that's an American thing.

lisbon was sold out but now there have been alot of refunds (sorry for my english)

Naaaah that is bullshit with big stadium shows. They tell you that there sold out, but the truth is they sold their contingent and usually hold tickets to sell a month until days before the show. Happened with AC/DC on their Black Ice Tour as well as basically every concert on the Rock Or Bust tour in Europe.

I guess we'll see a lot more tickets once the refunds are done next week. Those tickets released now may be tickets they held back.
