  1. I don't care if I see the same songs performed more than once. It's still awesome to go to a show, especially more than one, in my opinion.

not the point. why make excuses? i don't think there's anything wrong with saying that touring behind one album for 10 years can become stale. i think if 10 random people were polled, 10 random people would agree that it sounds ridiculous. this band's unwillingness to create music and tour behind it doesn't make them badasses in my book. i think it's a shame if ANY artist would expect ANY fan to be happy with these results.

  2. why is axl still touring chinese democracy? ten years is a long f'n time to tour ANY one album! i'm sure that i'm not the only one who thinks that these chinese democracy tours are starting to get a little stale. and before anyone bashes me for being honest, i just want to say that i don't think that it's unfair of me, as a fan, to wish that a band that i liked was a little more productive and ambitious. touring behind one album for ten years and fifteen studio tracks in seventeen years leaves ALOT to be desired!

10 yrs? The album was released in October 2008 and I came to like GNR that year.

but this is not the first cd tour...

it is to him and many more

with that rationale, he should never make a new album, cos chinese democracy is always going to be new to somebody.

Did HV not warn you yesterday? Thought you had enough fun at your forum, guess not...

    Hi BBA.

    nope but another assclown....

i got a warning yesterday, but the guy who warned me called me JB, so i'm assuming he thinks i'm someone else. i'm a first time member here, so if you're implying i'm someone from the past, you are wrong. btw, who you calling assclown you pencil neck looking geek? how about staying on the thread's discussion instead of playing some hard ass that you are not.

  5. I apologize for posting news from a trusted source. We trust the twitter and facebook accounts as news, guess we can't anymore. Any page can be hacked at any time. We have to still try and report the news. We cannot not post news based on the fact that it could be hacked. I will try to do better next time, I am sorry for posting anything about it but it was a verified official source. I hope they find who is responsible and fuck them up...

maybe azoff is behind axl's misfortune.

  6. i'm not trying to add to any rumors, but it just doesn't seem like bbf is happy being in new gnr. let's face it guys, if your accepting a position in this band, you're doing so as an employee of this band. you have no say when you tour, you don't decide what is A vs B list material, you are not allowed to discuss this band with anyone from the press or media. you are an employee who will shut your mouth and do what you're told, when you're told.

if he left i'm happy for him. i don't think he ever really fit gnr anyway. it's cool that he's willing to do interviews and conversate with the fans, but what's the use if a gag order is preventing him from being able to talk about axl and his new gnr.

  7. not surprised by this at all. this whole post slash era gnr has been one damned voyage after another. axl can't keep a steady band together, his managers are trying to sabotage him, cancelled tours, and 1 album in a decade and a half (that wasn't all that good). if bbf did bail, good for him. he isn't a spring chicken and this gnr tribute thing can't be all that fulfilling.

  8. If he leaves, they will just replace with another guitarist. It won't be the end,

i agree, in no way will axl decide to end the band should bbf decide to leave. let's face it, his role is replaceable. bbf is at a point in his life where he should be doing work that makes him happy. he could go and make his own solo albums and actually have a say in what it will sound like, what makes the album, etc. his addition to cd were minimal, and tbh, none of what he contributed added all that much to the final product, imo (definitely not 2 year additional wait worthy). he's a nice enough guy that i would like to see him out there instead of just wasting his time and talensts on a band with no certain future.

  9. i don't know of any celebrity who has admitted to being a fan of the new gnr. hell, i don't even know anyone in my personal life who is a fan.

Sebastian Bach..... why hasnt anyone said him yet :S

i don't know that baz is a fan of new gnr. i think he's a fan of the idea of being able to associate himself to axl rose.

  10. And for Ron, and I like Ron, but Im pretty sure he knew before he joined the band that Axl is notorious for taking the stage late every show and has been that way for years. But he still took the job. Now hes wanting to point to his "imaginary watch" and look disappointed?LOL.

exactly. it's like he's saying, i'm sorry for all you fans who have to wait, but not so sorry that i would turn down a paycheck.

i'm sure Ron knows this band has no future outside of touring, and it's only a matter of time before Axl pisses him off bad enough and he bails out like the rest.

  11. Anyone else feeling like Bumblefoot's interviews keep having more and more...slightly negative undertones? This isn't purely based on the last interview, but I remember when Axl was late for a Europe show Bumblefoot was legitimately pissed. I think that's when I started noticing it. After that I feel like the interviews weren't as positive as they were before, I dunno, maybe it's just me.

The idea of Bumblefoot leaving is just really sad because he's great and I think that'd be the end of GNR, I honestly think a reunion would be the next likely scenario (second to GNR disbanding). I just can't see Axl in his right mind (crazy thought) not just thinking "Alright, enough's enough, this band is bullshit by now, I can't just pick up another guitarist for the 6th time."

Love the music but it's hard to think the band is heading in a positive direction. All that talk of a new album in November...I just don't buy it.

i think it's obvious that BBF's days are numbered. like some have already said, the paycheck is probably just too easy and who knows how many other prospects the guy actually has. i was never a fan of bbf's playing in guns or as a solo artist. he's a nice guy for sure, but he's not allowed to talk about the band in any interviews because of the gag order so usually his interviews result in being a total snore. i wouldn't blame him for leaving and to be honest, i hope he does at some point, especially if his departure ultimately leads to a reunion of the classic era guns.

  12. Shacklers Revenge sounded like a demo like OH My God.. was used as a filler song and sounded like an experiment by a band trying to find a sound that fit. It would have sounded better in context with a chicken coop song by that fruitloop on six string- Buckethead.

yes kiddies Buckehead is a fruitloop...nunchackus and rubber chickens at a GNR concert? Talking sock spokesman named Herbie talking about how Buckehead was afraid of girls... if that dont make you feel embarassed for him the whole buckethead white face mask should. O his own he has AMAZING STUFF and in his own coop theres no one better but in GNR??? Axls coke must have been laced with LSD when he pulled that stunt.

yeah i agree. he should try to be cooler, like slash. cause thats cool, you know, trying.

oh wait thats actually really fucking lame.

buckethead doing what he wants and not giving a fuck? yeah thats not cool... all he is missing is the strategic cigarette, leather jacket and heroin addiction. CHEA BRO! internet five!!!

    LOL.

are you really trying to compare slash's gimmick to bucket's? shit man, it's apples n oranges. slash's persona fit gnr's image. bucket's looks absolutely ridiculous and sticks out like a sore thumb. doing what you want and not giving a fuck doesn't necessarily mean 'cool' in my book. it could also mean that bucket is just a freak. don't get me wrong, i like some of his solo work, but the guy has no business being in gnr.

  13. While the crowd was getting upset and throwing shit, I saw Ron in the corner with very much disappointment in his face. I know that it bothered him that it was very late and he couldnt play yet. I know he wished he could do something about it, but couldnt. During the concert I saw him pointing to his imagery watch and saying sorry to the fans for being so late. I also noticed that he didnt smile or seem to be having a good time. I have seen him live before and he is with great attitude. There was even a time when Axl and Ron were at the front of the stage and Ron just turned with anger. I know he just rolls with the punches and deals with it, but I sure hope that he doesnt get tired of it.

it's pretty obvious BBF realizes that he is just an employee with no say whatsover. i wouldn't be surprised if he leaves at the end of his contract. oh well, it's not as if they can't find some other no-name session musician to replace him with.

  14. First US show in 4 years, why would we?

at least they were smart enough to play a big bike festival along with many other known acts. what do you think ticket sales would have been like if they were the main act at an arena in S. Dakota? my guess is embarassing.
