but wouldn't have been a die hard fan (She never seen them before). But she too was completely blown away with Thursday night's show... completely converted now

Flew into London Thursday morning for other Business. Just noticed on Wednesday night GnR was playing in the O2.

Couldn't believe my luck when I saw they were playing Thursday night also!

Immediately bought tickets online to the show, was so thrilled they weren't sold out!!

So this was my GnR 2010 CD Tour take 2 - after the disaster that was Dublin which I only got to see 15-20 minutes of

OMG!!! What a concert!!! I have never in my life seen anything like this before (including GnR 2006 etc).

Axl was on top form, the band were rocking on the O2 was an unbelievable venue, with amazingly LOUD sound the way it should be!!!

and then I couldn't believe my eyes when I did a double take and saw Duff "Rose" the King of Beers Mc Kagan walking around the stage rock1

Just fantastic!! What more can I say - This was everything I could ever hope for from a GnR show and then some!!

I only hope this concert was recorded professionally - imagine this as a Blu Ray with DTS sound

Some Irish and English have a bit of a reputation when it comes to events, drinking, and misbehaving (World & European soccer championship in the nineties & early 2000 anybody? Drunk terrorization of South Europe in the summer season anybody?). You call it 'don't letting people get away with shit and standing up for yourself', other people call it 'being out of line'. You don't throw objects at people just because they show up late.

Irish Crowds NEVER had any Soccer Problems - If you can find any (even with the Internet at your fingertips - please let me know)......... Otherwise Keep quiet as you don't seem to have a clue what you are talking about!!!

Yes there are a few HD shot videos - but unfortunately doesn't seem to be any HD Audio to accompany - surprising for a current touring band!!

Try Rock AM Ring 2006. It was shown on German TV, so it's got great video and sound quality. Great show and performance, probably my favourite Guns bootleg show. The version of Nightrain there is incredible

Guns N' Roses frontman in backstage confrontation

Guns N’Roses frontman Axl Rose threw a punch at MCD boss Denis Desmond at the O2 arena on Wednesday night, according to this morning’s Irish Sun.

Controversy erupted at the Dublin venue earlier in the week after Rose and the rest of his band walked off the stage only minutes into their performance after being pelted with bottles from the crowd.

Concert-goers were angry that the band had taken to the stage at nearly 11pm, over an hour later than scheduled, and responded by throwing bottles, some rumoured to be containing urine, towards the stage.

Rose and his bandmates left the stage and were confronted by an angry Denis Desmond, boss of MCD, who demanded that the band return to the stage and finish their set. According to a report in this morning’s Irish Sun, Desmond and Rose were involved in an angry and physical confrontation back stage.

The paper quote ‘an insider’, who revealed: “Axl did get physical with Denis backstage and there was also a heated exchange between the two of them as he wanted to leave the building altogether.

“He shaped to him and threw a punch but Denis remained calm. Denis told him in no uncertain terms that he was obliged to get out there and deliver a performance to fans.

“It didn’t develop into anything serious and security didn’t have to intervene but Axl was acting out of control. As far as Denis is concerned, he (Rose) is a puppy dog in comparison to what he used to be like in his heyday so he just shrugged it off.”

Rose and the band did eventually go back on stage about an hour after leaving and finished their set, but according to various reviews of the gig, it was far from paradise in the city.

I am going to try move away from the Dublin 02 tread now and onto something else and try get some answers before anything happens at the Rome Show

What I would like to know is if anyone knows of any PRO quality recorded GnR shows or DVD/Blu Ray recordings with Digital Soundtracks such as a DTS/Dolby Digital etc.

I have listened to the "Live Era" Album to death now at this stage and it's one of my Fav Albums but I need something new on the Live Front!!

I just saw the BBC Coverage of Reading/Leeds (Thanks for the Proxy IP Address) - 26 minutes long (so 3 minutes more than I got in Dublin )

So I know there are a lot of recordings out there, but none of them seem to have made it anywhere that I can get them!!!

Ideally I would love to see a full Chinese Democracy Concert wheteher its from the Buckethead/Fink Era or the current Fortis/BBF/Ashba Era etc...

Again prefereably with a DTS/DD soundtrack but if not normal PCM would do... Also are there any CDs of any of these shows etc???

Axl Knows posts here just to annoy genuine fans, He offers nothing in the way of constructive criticism and why he hasn't been talked to by the moderators is beyond me. Anyway if the moderators want to encourage people like him and ruin this forum then they can go ahead. I'm just going to ignore the fool from now on.

ON TOPIC: It was reported in the newspaper today that Axl attacked the promoter backstage and hit him. The promoter stood his ground and said that Axl is like a puppy compared to 20 years ago.

Yes well if he keeps on - I am going to report him to the moderators also - because I don't know what his game is!?!? That is the type of attitude that causes half of the trouble we are discussing!!?

It wasn't just Axl who had a bottle thrown ar him, Richard did as well. At the end of the day, the other guys in the band knew that it was just a couple of idiots who were stirring shit and that the rest of the audience just wanted to see a good rock show. They were decent enough to look past the behaviour of those two or three people for the good of the fans who had paid their hard-earned money.

We all have to put up with unreasonable shit in life. If I'm having to put up with shit at work I dont go around doing my job badly and taking it out on my colleagues. You accept that shit happens and you act like a professional.

Slash was knocked to the fucking ground in Italy by some lunatic who jumped the stage and yet he carried on playing and giving his all. It's called being a pro. It's called not tarnishing everyone with the same brush just because of one asshole.

No because if he had the courage of his convictions and STAYED OFF like he threatened to do in the first place, I wouldn't be €160 + Time Off Work + Taxis etc out of pocket!!!

I didn't give a shit what time he ended at even if it was 3am, I was getting Taxis!!! But I got put out by the venue as they were trying to get rid of everyone to avoid trouble, then by the time I was gone MCD came on saying they were trying to get them back on....

CUE Legal threats to AXL and Band - AXL didn't want any LEGAL actions or NO PAY, so he came on and delivered a very lack lustre performance which any of my friends managed to remain to see - didn't enjoy one song because of all the Trouble that went on!!!

If he had of stayed off at least I would have my €160 back!!! BUT I can assure you, I'm not done with MCD yet!!!!!
