  1. I saw Axl on Saturday night. Guy can sing and front a band but he has the brain of a child.

    He's a sad, sad man.

P.S. And before some paranoid delusional freak jumps to conclusions I travelled to Sydney to watch Axl in concert. Awesome show but I have little time for the individual who hides behind sun glasses.

-- Just thought I'd repost this to say how sick I think Axl looks. He needs to hit a hospital bed or do some kind of training camp. Looks way out of shape.

Nobody wants to see a fat rocker

  3. A reunion is imminent. Only a matter of time.

It is quite clear that Axl is having serious financial troubles. His spending doesnt match the incoming paychecks, with the ongoing legal bills stacking up.

Its only a matter of time before Axl will need the $$$. Looking at his need for $20million from Activision, it might come sooner than later.

Cheers Axl. I know you are reading this. Lets face it, you could die tomorrow only being remembered as a member of a former top headlining band. Or you could be remembered as a man who put his ego aside to partake in the greatest reunion of all time. Something The Beatles couldnt do.

Slash is waiting for your call....

  4. Next thing you know Axl will be suing Slash for wearing the tophat claiming it "is Guns N Roses property".

This is seriously pathetic, even for Axl.

Your glory days are over pal, everybody in the music industry knows it.

Sure, that is why they are selling out venues on tour, and you act like slash invented the damn tophat, look up Marc Bolan and Mr. Peanut

Sounds like you have shit for brains. Get some english lessons pal, then you might actually understand what you read instead of second-guessing and making false assumptions.

  5. It would be cool if Axl released the rest of Chinese Democracy and then did a final album and tour with the original lineup. That will likely never happen though unless Slash apologizes to Axl in the press and takes responsibility for some of the lies he's spread about Axl. I also believe that the record company plays a big part in the lack of material released drama. Axl owes them two more albums and I really think they are trying to force him into reuniting the old band for those albums. We all know Axl doesn't deal with being told what to do so what you get is a stalemate.

You are 100% correct. However Slash has already apologizes numerous times but the task at present is getting he and Axl in the same room. It is getting close, thanks to Duff.

I feel sorry for DJ Ashba though, who will never produce any material with Axl. He has some talent, so I would suggest he audition for another band as soon as possible.

Oh look, Shakamaker with another knowledgeable, indisputable, asanine, "insider-wanna-be" report.

Double Dip imbecile with sprinkles for brain cells. :D

Thanks for your attention, sweet heart.

  7. Bumblehead obviously sounds frustrated.

Axl is better off auditioning for Velvet Revolver as they are looking for a new frontman and have a whole album of stuff ready to go.

Oh, and bring the name "Guns N Roses" with him. Lease the name to Velvet Revolver.

Axl will still legally own the name Guns N Roses. Each member of the band will get equal share in proceeds. Everyones a winner.

  8. John Frusciante (solo) is absolutely one of my favorites artists.Nowhere close to my love for GNR/Axl,but his 2004 solo release,"Shadows Collide With People" is incredible. Not only is he one hell of a guitar player, but vocally,he's WAY more impressive than Anthony. All of those backround harmonies you hear in all decent/great Chilli Peppers songs, that's John. He's a gem. Now,would I recommend him to ever join Gnr? Eh,probably not.Like someone said before, they have two very different styles, but would I like to see a little collab between Axl and John? Hell yes,I would! They have met once,as far as I know. There's a picture floating around with Axl,Frusciante,Kiedis and Flea, circa 1991-1992.

P.S. John's most recent album,"The Empyrean" is quite good, too. He's like a more intense Cat Stevens,in my opinion.Which is definitely a compliment.

    yes this is the one:

John is bringing out more solo stuff early next year. I'd love to see him collaborate even for a song with Axl.

Just for the record, John Frusciante was also acutally a neighbour of Slash during this era from 1989-1994. They never jammed together though.

One thing that John and Axl have in common is they are not driven by money to produce music.

  9. If he's stuck finding an axeman in future, Axl should consider using John Frusciante since he is commitment free after leaving the Chili Peppers.

Ironically, John and Axl have similar personalities and the chemistry would be good. John can also write songs

  10. shakamaker likes to pretend s/he's some kind of "insider." funny thing is that real "insiders" don't have to prove anything by bragging about their connections - especially on fan message boards.

    Nah, they ain't pretending. fyi

    bullshit! FYI

Who's pretending to be what?? Where have I stated I am in insider?

Well,Duh, you state that you've discussed this with cancerboy, and you act like you know what their relationship entails ie: "they are like brothers" I'm calling bullshit on you and your sad attempt to decieve people on this forum, pretender! <_<

Not even going to acknowledge your stupid comment with a response. I wish you well in life.

Who's pretending to be what?? Where have I stated I am in insider?

OK, so then, for the record: you're saying that you're not an insider?

we've had several insiders on the forums over the years. most of them acknowledge who they are, and this has been verified by the band. after all, what is there to hide?

another well-known insider provided (for years) highly accurate updates on current events and future plans of the band. this person was also able to arrange for the forums pre-sale tickets for the hammerstein shows.

shakalaka, on the other hand, is just some lonely weirdo looking for attention. :sleeper:

Thanks pal. Have a nice day :)

  11. Slash was clearly very embarrased by this. Just so you all know, Slash loves Axl. He gets very offended when people diss Axl, they are like brothers.

How do you know? Brothers? Don't think so :puke:

Slash did an excellent job Dissing Axl himself for many years!

How do I know? Go read his book, pal, for a start. Other than that, he has told me many times.

Slash has admitted to airing negative comments toward Axl when Velvet Revolver first started. However he was on drugs at the time and has since admitted he was wrong for doing it.

Axl did an excellent job dissing Slash for many years also. But they are brothers, and brothers fight.

Is it amusing to you to try and play "insider?" Do you honestly think all of us are that gullible? Slash bad-mouthed Axl for years, denied going to his house, blamed the breakup on him and villianized him through the media, Slash is a passive-aggressive snake in the grass, brothers my ass-slash is a cancer!! ;)

  13. Guns n Roses are due to appear at ANZ stadium sydney on 4th December 2010. I'm really looking forward to going, but I've kinda left it a bit late to book some accommodation near stadium, everyhing is booked out.....

Can anyone help me find somewhere to stay near stadium (olympic park) or anyone travelling back to central sydney after show????

Check out accomodation at Parramatta. Its a close suburb to Olympic Park. 10-15 min cab ride.

  14. What the hell does Slash have on his radar next anyway? That's right, jack fucking shit. He still has to work in that little something negative like focusing on the show being late which to me is just sour grapes. Oh well, maybe he can go fumble through a few notes on Ellen.

A reunion isn't fucking happening, that question's already been answered by Axl a long ago. He did say he would be open to playing with Duff for a gig, it happened.

Do you think its good business to spend 15 years and approx $20million on an album?

It's $20 million now? Last I heard it was $13 million, and even that was a figure that no one seemed to be able to find any proof of.

Bitter much? You have no idea what you are talking about.

Its 'fans' like you who lead the public to believe that disputes between band members are worse than they appear.

I'm sending some love your way brother. Chill man. Have a nice day :)

  15. Slash has been more than willing to meet half way

and gotten nothing in return except to be called a deadly disease

hes taken the blame for many things that went down, has apologized, and repeatedly hails Axl as a great songwriter and frontman

the late starts bother him, its always bothered him

it costs the band money, its inconsiderate for the fans

he doesnt want to budge on that point and he shouldnt have to

    because hes absolutely right

You are spot on. It costs the band hundreds of thosands of dollars to run their shows late. This comes out of band money.

Whats the point on them playing concerts if they make little money?

Axl is a genius performer but he isn't a businessman. He never has been.

He just got paid $1million for a couple of hours work, I think he IS a pretty good business man.

Do you think its good business to spend 15 years and approx $20million on an album?
