are the added dates arenas at least? Or stadiums?? That’s so many tix to sell in such a short time 🤦🏻‍♀️

Edmonton is a hockey arena but I'm not sure about the other dates though.  It would be far too cold here to have an outdoor concert at our football stadium in October.

    Go!

The guy I’m travelling with for work is giving me a hard time if I go because he has an immune compromised kid and he’s saying if I catch covid.. give it to him then his son will could get it when we head back to canada tomorrow…

he’s literally talking as if I’m 100% catching Covid which is stupid.. I’m double vaxxed and I’ve had Covid.

  3. I met Richard and Kat in 2012... I went to Cabo Wabo in Vegas in 2012 and was sat down at the table right beside them.. I didn't want to bother them but my wife started just started talking to them and they were both super nice but left shortly after we got there.  Kat took a pic of me and my wife with Richard.

  4. It's depressing me how many seats are still available for this show.  I really wanted it to be sold out or close to at least.

Also.. I'm not from Seattle but will be staying at the Sheraton hotel downtown... does anyone from Seattle know if that hotel will be walking distance to the stadium?  On google maps it looks relatively close.

  5. Yeah true, but Axl ain't singing well. For whatever reason, hes not into it right now. Definitely something bothering him.

Have you been to a show lately?? I was at the Nov 18th show and I can guarantee you that Axl was totally into it and was definitely singing well.

Like I said in another thread, I was at 2 shows in 2010... this one was better by a mile.

  6. I was at this show and I have to admit that I was extremely leery on how Axl was going to sound being as the videos I've seen have sounded terrible. I've seen Gnr 5 times now and I honestly think Axl sounded better at this show than any of the other shows... and I saw 2 shows in 2010. He had lots of rasp and seemed in a great mood and was really into it. I only noticed the "mickey mouse" voice a few times.... end of Estranged and parts of rocket queen... but to be honest it doesn't even sound bad live?!

My girlfriend was with me and she said Axl sounded amazing.. she's just a casual fan (at best) but she also came to one show with me in 2010 and she said he sounded way better this time. I also heard nothing but good comments from other people at the concert.

I took lots of pics and a few videos which I might post once I put them on my computer which might take forever.

My only real complaint would be that I really think they need to shorten the set list a bit... get rid of some solos and covers... the concert is honestly too long.. especially if you're drunk! Lots of people left before the end.

Also, on Thursday night (Nov 15) I was at Cabo Wabo and saw Richard Fortus sitting 2 tables down from me (he was with the photographer chick)... I wasn't going to say anything to him but he walked right by me so I had too. I ended up getting a pic with him and he chatted to my girlfriend and I for a good 5 min... super nice guy!

  7. Guns Crue together would be a great show, although as Groghan stated, Motley Is the bigger draw In the U.S., I would settle for a co-headling tour.

I can't speak for the U.S. but in Canada when Crue was here about 2 years ago they lowered ticket prices to $1.00 for 3 days before the show and it still wasn't sold out. I've seen GnR 4 times in Canada now and 2 were sold out and 2 were very close to sold out... and that's without giving away tickets for $1.00.

On another note... Crue fucking sucks live!! You think Axl sounds bad live (which I'll agree he generally does lately) but Vince sounds a million times worse. They played for about 1.5 hours and it was probably the worst concert I've ever been too... not even worth the $1.00 I paid... well actually it was about $10 with service fees.
