Being honest, as someone who saw the old band and has been a GN'R fan since 1988, the new lineup is as good, if not a better group of players all around than the old band.

And, if the old band reunited now, there's no telling what kind of chemistry, if any, they would have.

Thinking of getting a ticket for this show, but seems tickets are sparse for the front three sections. Is there anyone from the Wilkes-Barre show going to this show that I may recognize? It is a 4 hour drive for me but thought since it is seats only at least I would not have to wait in line all day and could leave at a decent hour to get there for the opener.

How does GnR relate to Hockey: I’ve seen Axl wear MANY hockey jerseys on stage, Bumblefoot is a huge (i think) Islanders fan, and I’m certain the other guys are fans of hockey because it’s the greatest sport on earth and they are the greatest band. So there ya have it.

'Estranged' is sounding good these days. Quite wonderfully played by the band, Axl's adding some rasp in there and holding long notes. I really enjoyed this performance a lot.

Those high notes at the end are... not very good to be honest. He sounds like an old woman. But it is strange because he seems to be switching to a raspy voice almost within i note and then suddenly it sounds good.

Would like to add that this seems to have been an absolutely awesome show

The guy is all over in the mix, if you watch any UYI show, his vocals were front and center at all times. The band is FINE, but as Axl fits in, he is basically just drowned out.
