As I read the farewell posts, only one thing comes to mind "Fuck you, Eric".
To a lot of people including me, this was more than simply a Guns N' Roses forum. It's a place you come to laugh and discuss stupid things, or have good discussion about polemic stuff. It's my favorite website on the whole internet. It's a place with friends and friendship. A place with a story. And you're running that, just because you don't have profit. I'm sure you received many offers to buy the website, it makes absolutely no sense not to sell it. Unless, there's something you're hidding... Fuck you!

Thank you Eric? Well, yeah, thanks for the board, but it was low to close the site, seriously. You could sell to someone, ANY ONE. And if you had informed the members about the problems earlier, I'm sure you would have earned a lot of money. Just saying... it's too late now.

The slow death of Guns N' Roses. Great times. I love that forum and the members. I became addicted to it. There were times there was nothing going on with Guns N' Roses but I would come here every single day. Have more than 4000 posts here. Made some good friends, real friends. Had a great time, laughed a lot with you guys.
It's a shame that the Guns N' Roses death has to start with one of the best parts of it.
Manets, where do you gonna post now? You're the best source of informations for Rio, I'll follow you everywhere!

Guns N' Roses is: Axl, Dizzy, Tommy, Chris, Richard, Ron, Frank and Dj -- if those guys are out on the road with other bands, then GN'R is not active.
Being active can mean more than merely touring,you can be active in the studio,laying tracks,remixing,approving artwork,contacting producers,and going over contractual obligations,I can guarantee you two things,this is not Madison,and I bet I know which terrorist training forum you are from,you lot swap accounts and make plans to hassle other forums,like SS giving his account to broskirose to cause havoc at htgth,then post screenshots,apologies for going off topic but it needed to be said,glad to see you guys hate me,along with HV,and GG,your forum is whacked.

U2 tonight is playing it's 3rd SOLD OUT concert at Morumbi Stadium, biggest private stadium on the South Hemisphere. 90,000 people each day. It's their biggest profit on the whole 360º Tour. They wre only playing two concerts, but it sold out in 2 hours, so they announced a 3rd date.

I've seen many bands live. The best on overall perfomance was Guns N' Roses.
GREAT - Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Metallica, AC/DC, Scorpions
GOOD - Avenged Sevenfold, Queens Of Stone Age
NOT SO GOOD - Linkin Park.
Linkin Park concert was worse than I thought it would be. The crowd was very excited but they didn't response. Fuck'em.

They sold out very fast 3x the biggest private particular stadium in South America. On 2006, with the Vertigo Tour, they sold out 1 night, and almost the 2nd one. I don't like them. But I have an iPod U2 heh

I heard it now, not clearly tough. I used to remove the vocals from some songs, but sometimes a vocal layer escaped from the process and it sounded like the vocalist was whispering the lyrics.It may be a remnant of the solo on the rythym part of the mix.
Well, you gotta do it with the multitracks, the programs effects are not very good.
As for the solo, it's in the background, easier to listen with headphones.

Well it's not that much hidden during live performances. But it should've been more front in the album mix.
Not really... I mean, it's not supposed to be there, is it? Ron recorded the solo to be put there, so I'd guess they would completely remove Buckethead solo.

Buckethead Shackler's Revenge solo, and some solo at TWAT.
BH solo is "under" the rythym guitar, if you try hard you can listen to it. It's very, very low, and it's hard to listen, but not impossible.

Sounds like Bollocks to me. If Axl cared that much about the fans, Izzy, Duff, Adler, Slash would take to the stage also.
I don´t mean to be offensive but your comment goes beyond stupidity. Saying Axl doesn´t care about his fans because he doesn´t fulfill your wishes is ridiculous. That band died almost 20 years ago and it´s been made clear that they won´t reunite again.
They´ve been hired to headline RIR because the fans voted for them, and those fans do know who the current members are and those are the ones they want to see. Stop living in 1991, it´s 2011.

I believe one of the main reasons GN'R won't tour US is because Axl won't stand looking at the small arena and see it half-filled. You know him...
When I saw all the twitter trending topics, the massive voting, it was obvious that Axl was feeling huge. The fans promotion made an ego boost to him.
And yet, everyone who voted, knows that the band coming is the current line-up. The promotion was to bring Guns N' Roses, the current Guns N' Roses, not Old'GNR. Accept that.
No one voted thinking "Oh, I hope Axl understand that I'm just voting because I want Slash to be there."
