  1. I woulld like a reunion with a new album!!!!

In just a reunion tour I am not interested. It would be all about the money. I want more than that.

So without the above option, I choose new music, but I am most interested in a reunion with new music.

I would prefer a reunion with new songs but would take a reunion tour with just old songs. I would also like a UK tour with the current incarnation though playing new music

  2. I thought CD was kind of ok, was alright. Tbh I never really listen to it. I prefer AFD by a country mile.

    Are you a GN'R fan?

Off course I am a fan of GN'R, I wouldn't be registered to a band's forum if I wasn't a fan. I'm just wanting to hear a GNR record like the 'old days' with the old band. Not the Axl circus that we currently have got going on. I view GN'R as a band from the past because to me they are the band that I got into in 1987.

  3. Slash has more respect in the press and the industry than Axl but he hasn't done anything as inspiring. His peak was with GN'R. He is basically doing everything for money now. He shows up at random gigs, plays guitar and goes home. He's just a relic from the late 80's. Never changed his style, never played anything different.

Slash is probably the best guitarist in the world. I can't think of anyone who plays with more feel that he does and it's all about feel. All the best guitarists have a signature style his happens to be blues based rock. His melodies are spot on as are his riffs.

  4. I've been thinking about this lately. Why do people want a reunion.

The simple fact is as follows. It won't be good. It'll be 5 people who are just playing together.

The chemistry is long gone. And that's what made GNR great. The onstage chemistry. Okay so Slash Duff and Matt might still have chemistry what with VR ect but it would be them against Axl and Izzy.

You look at how tight the band were in 1987 and compare it to 1993. Even then they were doing their own thing onstage.

    It just woulden't work.

I see what you're saying but if Axl and Slash were to bury the hatchet there may be revived chemistry, different band but I saw the Sex Pistols original line-up and thought they were amazing. Unfortunately I have never seen Guns live and would love the chance.

  5. If they reunited, there would be a lot of people complaiming that the band is just trying to grab some cash, saying that the magic faded away somewhere in the early 90's. That's what gonna happen. Reunions will hardly result in a happy ending.

A lot of people? the only people who would be calling it a cash grab would be NuGuns fans on this forum and other Guns forums...The other fans would be too busy fighting for tickets....................

You know that's bullshit don't try and fool anybody. It would be one HUGE motherfuckin' cash grab.

I did not say it would not be a cash grab, of course it would be a cash grab.........all I said is the only people who would be bitching about it being a cash grab would be NuGuns fans who are against a reunion and most of them would be fighting for tickets.....the majority of fans are not going to care if it is a cash grab and it would be one of the hottest tickets of the year...........

It would be the biggest come back ever, I can't see why 'NuGuns' funs would be against it, surely they got into Guns because of AFD?

  6. kinda ironic that people myself included dig Iron Maiden, despite the constant line-up changes and we knock nuGuns for the same thing!

To be fair the current line up has remained in place since 1999 and four studio albums, so not too shabby :P

(Albet in the early days, yeah I agree with you)

Deffinatly more stable than Guns. And they can sell out stadiums too

I reckon though if the original or even the UYI line-up it would be the biggest come back ever!

  7. Only the appetite for destruction line-up is the real deal, I never saw old Guns and not even seen nuGuns, but bought all the records etc and felt like a fan of the band, with the ever changing line-up and only 1 album since the split. I view Guns like all past bands, they don't really exist anymore. Slash to me is integral to the band. So is Axl. I thought chinese democracy was ok. But nu-guns is very low-key. If they come to Scotland I will deffo go and see them though and might change my mind.
