I will second the notion of Alice in Chains being pretty horrible. Couldn't understand a single word, and it was just a giant wall of noise.

there is a VIP entrance though, it's going to be where the yellow flags are....idk what all the gold package includes but you might check your junk mail and make sure you got the email.

Anyone want to upgrade their seat to VIP early entry Pit on Friday. My dad is going with me but can't stand long enough to use the pit ticket. Seat plus cash preferable.

I'm lame but if I could get any song they won't play already it would be Locomotive.

I'm personally not digging the new logo. It's like some one showed Fernando photoshop and gave him free range to do as he pleases, it comes off as lazy. The letters that make up Guns N's Roses should have been done on a path instead of using the arc text warp, now we've got the letters getting awkwardly squished towards the center of the logo. Everything looks plastic and fake, the obvious use of the bevel and emboss looks amateur and the use of a scratched metal texture just looks lazy. Yeah the logos colors are brighter, but this honestly looks like someones attempt to recreate the logo for a Photoshop tutorial. the only thing that looks remotely good is the pistols and the roses in the logo. everything else looks bad. All they would have had to do would be brightening up the classic logo and it would have been just fine.

However, I am happy that they are at least putting forward effort to update us on whats going on and give us new stuff.

I ended up not being able to return my VIP tickets so I had to get my deal real refunded and cancelled. That was a nightmare.

We bought a flight, hotel, and rental package before this, just gonna keep it, its actually cheaper that way than trying to find a flight out. So I still have a room for thursday, just have to transfer my stuff to the MGM from the Excalibur. then I will have an extra room at the Excalibur on Friday and Saturday night. Just gotta cancel/refund my night two VIP tickets.

I've got two Gold VIP tickets Section 5, Row B, seats 21-22 for night two. I'm currently in the process of attempting to return them, but If that fails, I'd like to offer them up here. I paid $1900 for the pair.
