  1. Many who didn't even go to the show may disagree with me on this but Axl hit a home run tonight. His vocals were powerful for the entire show and may even give 2006 a run for its money.

Standard setlist but with Used To Love Her and Whole Lotta Rosie added to the mix. Not much else to say about this show actually. Frank and Chris joined Ron and Richard at the front of the stage during the pre Patience jam.

One thing that did annoy me about this show (and surprisingly more so than the wasted off her face woman next to me) were the two people in front of me who paid extra for early access to the venue then spent most of the night texting and checking Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

    Bring on tomorrow night!

Also, Jarmo is short as fuck.

  2. The range of merchandise is pretty bad. There are only about five shirts. Two black and white skull designs, two black and orange skull designs. Neither of those four have back designs with residency dates. The other shirt has the No Trickery design that all the staff members are wearing. There's a jersey with the same design as well. Five shirts, a jersey and some playing cards.

If anyone wants, I'll try to get an image up after tomorrow's show.

  3. Great show tonight. I attended The Pretty Reckless concert in Vinyl and ended up missing Chinese and about half of Jungle.

Axl started off strong, hints of Mickey Mouse were in his voice but definitely not the exaggerated amount I read about on here. Surprisingly he only wore four jackets as opposed to the usual 20. The crowd were a bit weak too, during the crowd sing along during Heaven's Door and even Paradise City. Nicholas Cage was on the balcony above where I was.

I ended up meeting DJ in the restaurant next to the casino (can't remember the name) at around 3am. Super nice guy, he was with his wife and had no problems stopping to talk to fans. Dean Ambrose on the other hand though, he seemed to be in a rush when I passed him outside Pink Taco, he seemed reluctant to have a photo but had one anyway. Meeting him was over and done in about 20 seconds.

Overall, amazing performance by the entire band. Can't wait for the 30th and 31st.

  4. I ended up seeing Bruce Springsteen a few weeks ago and it was the best concert I'd ever been to. Two concerts I went to actually, different set list both nights. First night he played the Born In The USA album start to finish, next night it was the Born To Run album. He kicked off both shows with his version of Lorde's song Royals. It got some negative reviews but I loved it, if I hadn't heard the original then I would have thought it was one of his songs. Setlists for both nights are below.

    Dancing In The Dark
    My Hometown

  5. I love classicrawkers views towards illegal downloading, I can't stand it either.

I like his views on bootlegs

I've got a ton of bootlegs as well, they're not official releases though so bands arent losing money by it. I had a copy of Live At River Plate by AC/DC about a year or so before they released it on CD. As soon as it came out, I deleted my previous version and bought the CD. I'd do the same thing with any other bootlegs if they were to be officially released too.

Why do you think bootlegs are illegal Stoner?

    I don't think they're illegal...

I buy all my music either on iTunes or physical copy although I prefer the latter. I'll buy the single on iTunes before the album is out then buy a physical copy upon its release. Basically the way I see it, if a band can spend years writing and recording an album then spending a measly $20 (which isn't much) is completely fine with me.

  8. He still has a ton of clothes changes in the jackets alone.

-Intro jacket with studs along the shoulder blades.

-Jacket with the gold studs along the cuffs and shoulders.

-Jacket with studs underneath the arms to the bottom.

-Jacket with the patches on the arms and the skull on the back.

    -Black trench coat.

-Red trench coat (although I don't think hes worn it in a while)

    -Black striped trench coat.

-DSquared leather / denim jacket / hoodie.

    -DSquared black / green jacket

    -Gold velvet blazer

-Paradise City jacket with the studded sleeves.

Not to mention all the hats and ELEON shirts.

The leather jackets seem too same same whereas the blazers from 2010 all had something that distinguished them from each other. Even the shiny blue and silver blazer shown above looked great, even though I thought it was pretty tacky at first.

  9. If theres one thing this episode has taught me, its that you can easily tranquilize someone in a crowded bus across the aisle and tell them of your plans to escape out loud, and carrying a dead body covered in a blowing sheet onto your boat is actually pretty easy.

I liked the season, not one of my favourites but it was decent. Unfortunately it felt like just another season, not one that will wrap up the entire show. Oliver Saxon was a brilliant killer. I love how he was able to outsmart Dexter at every turn and even meet him in public locations like the station and pretty much mock him at the same time. I'd have preferred it if he was revealed a little earlier with less focus on Evelyn's patient with the head scar (can't remember his name).

The final episode left me thinking 'thats it?'.
-Fair enough Dex kills Deb so she doesn't have to suffer anymore but why take the body? The way I see it, he's putting her in the same group as everyone else he dumps at the bottom of the ocean.
-How does he drive his boat into a hurricane and survive?
-Why didn't he just return to shore and use the cruise control on his boat to send it into the hurricane?
-If Deb was his last kill then how could he ruin the lives of Harrison and Hannah?
-Why would he choose to save the life of Harrison by faking his death, which leaves him without a father, mother or aunt but in a hands of a wanted fugitive?
-Why would he turn down tapping Hannah McKay anymore?

Seasons four and seven remain my favourites, I'm not sure where this one ranks but I wouldn't put it around the top. Oliver wasn't able to outdo Isaak Sirko as my favourite villain simply because no one on this show can reach the level of bad ass like Isaak did.
