I also remember the comparisson with a circus, bucket is shit, robin is freak etc

But now lot of GNR fans recognize Bucket's work and also Robin's.

BTW: in the copy of the video I have the bass and drums sound is awesome! at the end of jungle, before "you know where you are?" Brain sounds on fire

This is still my opinion about that time. A lot of things are better today. It bothers me though how Axl let himself go, looks wise. It would be a lot cooler if he looked a bit cooler.

On this forum, Ron, followed by Fortus and Tommy. Whenever I watch the livestreams, people are talking about Axl and DJ. In real life, Tommy probably has more respect than Axl. People are dicks to Axl. By the media, Axl barely edges out Tommy. At least, that's my take on things.

yes, i agree with you. Maybe because dj and ron have facebook and tweeter updates on a regular basis, but my order is this:

1- tommy

2- richard

3- dizzy

4- ron

5- dj

6- chris

7- frank

and below a little comment about each member:

tommy: he was for over 14 years with the band and envolved 100% with chinese project

richard: i think that he's just a waste as rythm guitar player. I remember an interview when he mentions that he auditioned for bucket's place in 2000

dizzy: the older memeber, but he plays piano...

ron: at the beggining he seemed to be important for axl and he has credits on almost all chinese songs, besides je joined in 2006,. But after that he looks more worried about poc and all his personal shit than GNR.

dj: cool guy, i like the way he plays. We have to listen him in an album

chris: cool but he plays the sampler

frank: he's good, but i loved the way brain played, so maybe i'm unfair, but i expect more energy from a gnr drummer

Tommy is the most respected.

He is the only one of the group that really carved out much of a career for themselves before latching on to the GNR train. The Replacements were a great band.

I´m with you my friend, tommy is the man, he played with bucket, dave navarro, josh, zack, robin, paul, brain, he's a big part of gnr story

i remember axl durin RIR 2001 introducing tommy as the man who was leading the rehearsals, so i realized that he's the most important member in terms of relationships between band members and obviously axl's confident man
