  1. Well, e.g. in 2010 everyone knew they will start later - so we just went to the venue later, stopped at a bar for some drinks and so on. We were on time and GNR played a fantastic show. GNR was still a mystery at this time.

We waited for "Checkmate" more then 15 years...; the mysteria and drama around all this songs was and is worth the wait. The whole story of GNR, CD, Axl was something special, tragic and unbelievable. A lot of us spent a fan-lifetime with the CD story... what ever it was and is - its a unique story in music history. Not to mention duke nukem forever ...but this chinese democracy (syndrom) journey gave us songs like CITR, TIL, Better, Maddy...(TWAT)....

Its a wonder that the  classic lineup is still alive. Every show with duff, slash and axl is a bonus that nobody could expected in the years eg. 1999, 2003, 2008 (it often looked like GNR is over).

The CD area presented us one of the best musicans on the planet. I ve no proble if Axl share his can once again with bucket just for one song or so (eg spend lyrics on soothsayer!).

And where the f*?! is Izzy? - Haha

Searching for some popcorn now.... ;)

I think this is a nice time to review writing credits from CD (only including band members)

    Dizzy -3

    Tommy - 2

    Huge - 4

    Finck - 1

    Shitman - 2

    Reese - 1

    Bucket - 3

    Brain - 2

Now that we have that out of the way, my money is on Hard Skool being written by Huge and Axl. I’m thinking the same for Perhaps.

    Melissa Reese is not on CD;

  3.

CITR: the first bridge + nanana part (great great music); the isolated bass part - wow; ...insane - like I dooo...; end of the song....

November rain: - demo - :  start +...again and again and again... part

Better: bittersweet...this melody inside of me is searching for solution...

Locomotive: bridge to the last part - screems are perfect (Axls screem is like a gitar)

Aint it fun: Start+first vocals: Michael+Duff+Axl; Vocal changes between Axl an Michael - hole song

Down on the farm: start+...swimming pools...horseshit....

VMA2002: starting screem Jungle + Maddy - great vocals ...tooo late....denial

    crash diet: first vocal parts

SOD: change from lead to rythem guitar...

    Civil War:

    When they shot the man
Who said "peace could last forever"
    And in my first memories
    They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all

  4. Is he still around as a user or is he gone forever - out of the GNR world? I mean he was the founder of mygnr...??? Just 'cause I'm interested in if he is still a bit in the GNR world.

  5. He always throw it from "above the head"; i remember once a fan was hit from the mic and had a slight cut. I think around this time he throw the mic from below (from the hip). Nowadays it could be a problem to throw the mic in the crowd - but it is a trademark from Axl - so maybe he has to change the mic in the end to a more lighter one due to security reasons (maybe there is fear that a fan can sue him).

And we know what happend if someone sues Axl :max:.....

in former times also tennis players throw their racket into the crowd - eg when the win. Dont know if that still hapens today - i dont think so...
