It wasn't too long ago we were told Steven was part of the reunion but injured his back. Was that all a lie? And was he or wasn't he at the Troubadour show?

Even if it's just a guest spot, a situation where he probably has to earn the trust of the rest of the band, we should all be happy. If he comes out and plays a block of appetite songs on this tour ID be more than happy

Doom, I agree, but if there was anyone who had the right to come out firing isn't it him? I mean, on the verge of the biggest tour in his life and boom, hes replaced, and yet utter silence from him..

We have to still take into consideration that Matt is still being extremely quiet on the situation. He replied to a tweet and immediately deleted it. that's about all we got. You have to question the motives of not only Sorum but Izzy , Adler, Gilby and even Pittman as to why they haven't spoken publicly. If they were all a forgone conclusion than there would be no reason for any of them to not come out publicly. Yet noone has, which leads me to believe that things are open for the future, if not guest appearances than maybe the AFD 30 year anniversary. Seems like no one wants to put there foot in there mouth and ruin a potential run in the near future.

Well we don't know if they have because still noone is saying anything. This is just so bizarre. Even today the members left out of this are still saying nothing. If there were no ties to bind them, they would be doing a lot of talking, or you would assume, and still nothing. None of this makes much sense

Smashing Pumpkins would be ridiculous for me, but in all fairness, Billy's voice live is kind of brutal. As for Collective Soul, I've seen them 7 times, they are fantastic live and put on a great show
