What would be an epic moment of pure brilliance is if Izzy showed up and the guys played Dust N Bones. There would be no tension. Just 4/5 dudes playing the music they love without any drama.

IMO playing together as the old group would do more harm than good at this point, I fucking hate to say that but it is reality. I love the new band as well so for me I am torn. Playing one song would open the floodgates so to speak about getting back together, it would never end.
Do more harm than good? Guns N Roses is a Rock Band?
What harm would come of it? Just fucking play a few tunes!

Reason I ask is because I personally feel that Axl did not give 100% during the '11 tour, especially when compared to '10. As we know, this last tour was the result of a settled lawsuit which required him to go out on the road and do these shows. I think his vocals were much weaker than in 2010, he had little to no interaction during the shows and it must have killed him to have to do something he didn't want to do.
So my question is - if this is solely a GNR endeavor, is there a possibility we'll see Axl's vocals circa 2010? I really do think he was that much better vocally in '10 than '11.

I paid just under $100 for tickets to see Guns N' Roses at Allstate Arena in Chicago this past November. I thought it was pricey, but didn't mind too much.
When I heard about this theater too, I guess I assumed tickets would be a little cheaper since it's a smaller venue and everything is scaled down.
Come on now. Tickets to see Slash were around $45-$55 at the same venue if memory serves. I love Axl, but I think, sadly, I'm gonna bow out of this one.
It's just not fan-friendly.
I know people will probably kill me for complaining about prices and tell me everyone else charges the same, but they simply do not. It's not true.
I'm sure it'll still sell out, and I may yet change my mind 'cause I'm a huge Axl Rose fan and huge fan of the classic lineup.
Better come with a different setlist at least, right? haha
