  1. First, good interview, and I wasn't crazy enough to think they'd ask certain questions or even talk about music, break the ice first at least :tongue2:

Second something I have to get off my chest, someone brought up the SNL episode with Matt Damon and either bacardimayne or someone else said "I think Axl hates him because of it" there in lies the problem, after all these years we STILL think that we are in Axl's head know exactly Axl feels about everything or anyone without him even saying it, now unless he said something before about it, why bother going down that route?

    :shrugs:

And groghan my friend it's already gone down that path with folks antagonizing, trying to be "funny" about not having "where's Slash" questions, or speculating about a member of the band, like that's supposed to make Axl feel good/bad or something. I don't get it, is it helping the cause unless he'd want them to ask?; like some only have antagonizing him as some sort of duty/ hobby, and no that's not to get you to have sympathy for him but at that point it's not Axl who has the problem....

  2. To be honest HRS I think you're over-thnking it mate. Just trying to support the opening track from their latest album, loads of bands do it?

It's not a great opener though, 'Jungle is better, imo.

No he's once again (like so many other "returned" folks) is trying to cause arguements about ignorant sh*t that's all, dunno why some bother coming back here. Stay over at gunsnfn lol. :sleeper:

  3. much respect to Axl for handling the situation like he did, unlike some vindictive cunts posting around here..

yeah I love the "that'll teach him to...."

So are some of you glad someone stole from him, just to prove a point, an overhyped point at that? Pitiful but I bet some are the same "fans" who would clearly steal form him out of some "you ruined GNR anyway steeze"

    Live n let die

    womp womp lol

  4. iftheworld, laura dern you're thinking of? And yeah smh at some b*tch taking his boots, some dee-bo type sh*t lol

and don't feel too bad alstonuk but I love that pic SLAA

  5. I can't believe all the bs in this thread...

Looks like it was a great show to be at (other than the long-ass changeover). Perhaps TL went on a wee bit too early?

Question: when Izzy was on did Fortus (or anyone else) take a breather, or were there 4 guitarists on at the same time? Must have been amazing!

    14 years

    rock3

It's sad isn't it, looks like guns-fn are having the usual mean mugging meltdown over there, this should be a celebatory thread

  6. today should just be a celebration.

    we are all GNR fans.

    original or Axl's dudes.

even with an important message (btw everyone including myself needs to see) you still had to make a little beeline for the new band just couldn't help yo' self (they do deserve respect to lol)

yeah I think sailaway is human, not a drone

  7. Implying that Axl cutting one show early for transport reasons negates the previous tours where he didn't give a fuck every single night is hilarious.

Not meaning to downplay the gesture, I think it's cool on Axl's part, but it doesn't suddenly make Axl some pariah of fan-consideration. Love him or hate him (I love the guy, saw him twice this tour and would see him ten times more if I could) there's no sense in blowing things like this out of proportion.

    ALL ABOARD!!!!!

lol too much, I wonder what he'd be like if he was a conductor or some shit hehe

FINALLY (in the Rock's voice) lol

they did some more jams with the man, cool,

and yeah while I agree zep, well if I were you I'd refrain from the "shutting up" part (though it's tempting :tongue2: ) just so they won't ban or warn you or anything

  10. 2hours50 of rock n' roll, Izzy on 6 songs, 14 years, Dead Flowers. Wow Kickass gig !

Yes. Izzy! Take note kids (Nu fans). That's how it used to be. TWAT is right.....

what am I suppose to take note of? Why can't we have the best of both worlds?

Because as technically perfect these hired guys are, the magic isn't there. Good shows- yes. Magic/chemistry-no.

Shut up. Don't tell people to "take notes" or call them "nu fans" because it sounds incredibly stupid and snobbish.

as with most old heads or long timers

  11. someone (in this case ONLY ONE) posts a usual overreaction of excitment for the show and like the usual two or three come right in and stomp all over their excitement (you know who you are )

  12. The SLAA Chronicles:

    Show 1:

TWAT, meets the band minus Diz and Axl

    Show 2:

    Meets Axl

    Show 3:

    Meets Axl again

    Show 4:

14 Years, possibly meets Axl again

    It Don't Really Matter Chronicles:

    Show 1: Rescheduled

    Show 2: Awesome concert.

    Show 3: RiR IV.

Some people have more luck than others :tongue2:

well that surely explains you then.....

    :xmasssanta:

    lol po thang'

  13. Can everyone relax LOL

we can, it's just some of these never happy, some who "returned" (btw, whom can go BACK to where they were) who keep up with same BS then turn and say to the band "same old stuff" lmao :rofl-lol:

  14. figures an article such as this would show up, (they did this with the LA show/daily fail) they will simply not leave them/Axl alone even if their accomplishment of no one paying attention them (the band) already works by their standards

btw some of these "fans" (mainly some of the "returned") around here, go back to gunsnfn.com, so the nasty, funky smell can at least disappear from around these parts

  15. It's awesome that Izzy played with Axl. It's great seeing them together again, especially playing a buried treasure like 14 years. That being said, its kinda lame he could do this, but not play with the other gunners at the hof to thank the fans. Just seems a little hypocritical, especially given some of the things he's said about Axl in the past. So while I'm thrilled to see Izzy playing with Axl again, I can't help but feel a little dissapointed he couldn't do this on the night that mattered, with the other people who mattered, and for the fans that mattered.

    Oh well...

Maybe you should let Izzy decide what matters to him.

    +1

Why can't people just get over him and Axl not attending HOF?

see well that's what retardation does for you rocket queen

and oh well nothing get the f*ck over that mess, you and layne WTBS, yet Axl is only supposed to be the one who can never get past nothing

  16. who said this was going to be an empty arena ? :fuckyou:

Dont be surprised. People here have been demanding Axl to retire and declaring that he "cant sing anymore" and he's over etc etc for ages. Doesnt stop him from putting on a brilliant rock show and bringing in good numbers to watch. :)

but of course if the top hatted one comes along then "Axl's the greatest, I knew he'd come to his senses and crawling back to him/them" <_<

  17. Found this on GnR int staff's facebook ,

here you are gilly with axl!

    398917_457857350906478_1441656928_n.jpg

    Great shot

it's a great photo, and one *not* ruined by Conor :tongue2: ,

very cool to see Axl giving individual time with all the fans, he seems to be enjoying touring now a lot more.

Yes, so this is for all the people who were pretending to be outraged (lol at dirtydne, saying he lost respect for Axl even though he stops at nothing to call the guy an a**hole anyhow) in that model thread saying "now he needs girls/ models just to get through the nights and shows" ummm he clearly likes being around fans, just sometimes he feels a like a nut sometimes you don't.

  18. Was he a dick?

    you're obvious lol

Really? In that case this story/account would've never been posted or it would have been much sooner under the "he's an ass" headlights

So for how long has the whole GNFNR crew been hanging over here? I'm confused.

Axl looks fantastic in the video by the way, which is weird since there are so many awful photographs of him floating around. One would think that a person would not just stop being photogenic while still being attractive in real life.

Just under ten years according to my profile.

    *shoots self*

And they can take their behinds right on back to cutthroat island or black lagoon :rofl-lol:

I mean I'm already starting to itch from being around them
