Alright well I am off to continue to enjoy my time here in AC. I hope those of you who attended the show as well had a blast.

Have fun! I just got home. Been up since 9:30 yesterday morning. Well worth it.

Anyone else catch DJ Ashba in the Showboat Casino about 4 this morning? We were standing next to each other smoking, and I didn't even realize it was him until he turned around! Talked to him for a bit and got a pic. He was pretty cool. But, Tommy? That guy really shouldn't drink and interact with people

Haha, yeah that's what I mentioned earlier. He was at the afterparty looking none too happy...dunno why.

Some guy went off on him. He called him a "pretentious fucking rock star" or something, and Tommy was like, "Just take your fucking picture!" I actually ended taking the picture of Tommy, the guy, his friend, and DJ, since the guy asked me. Then Tommy just disappeared after. But, he was really going off on some people when I saw him, so I didn't even approach him.

Yeah I was a Tommy fan, especially cause I know he lives in my area, plays shows etc. I was gonna catch one, but I dunno after last night. He just didn't seem to carry himself well, but maybe it was because of the situation you just mentioned.

He was definitely drunk, that much I could tell. He was standing with DJ when I met him, but he was talking to some girl at the time. When other started coming over, he was cool at first, but he just blew up at this guy.

Yeah he blew past me at the afterparty dragging some girl along with him. It just wasn't a good vibe, lol. I was pointing out to my gf at the end of the show how strange he was acting onstage too, lol. Ya could tell he was a little polluted.

That must have been the girl he was with. Dark hair, short, really pretty? Or was that someone else I saw with him? In either case, yeah, he was definitely out there last night.

Ya know, I don't really know, lol. I was in an interesting state of mind myself...had a blast though.

I almost went over and talked to her. But I figured if she was with Tommy or DJ, I'd get my ass kicked haha. DJ was cool, though. He saw me, and said, "Hey, what's up man?" We talked, and when I asked him for a pic, he said, "Absolutely! No problem." I thanked him, and he said, "No thank you. I appreciate it." and did that thing where he taps his heart with his fist. I had him sign my bar receipt, since that's all I had on me.

Funny story behind this picture. This girl came up, and she was all over DJ. She kept saying, "He's my friend, He's my friend!" You can see DJ looking at me as I take this. That was right after she was all over him, and all he could say was, "I think she took my wallet."

There's a Hard Rock directly underneath the House of Blues, so it could be one possible place they go to after the show. I know when Motorhead played there, Lemmy came down, because he walked right past me about 2 hours after the show.

Ha! AC is nothing like Camden But, there are parts there that you don't want to get lost in, especially at night

Once you get off the Expressway, stay left. Then, just follow the signs for the Showboat. After that, it's pretty easy to get there.

The area around it at night is...I would say less than safe. It's not extremely dangerous. But, it's very seedy. The Showboat/House of Blues is at the end of the AC strip, away from the other casinos. You'll pass a lot of pawn shops, check cashing places, XXX theaters, strip clubs, stuff like that along the way. As for parking, I remember there being an outside parking area, but couldn't tell you if you had to pay or not. It's not really confusing to drive, since it's one straight shot down the strip.

The venue is nice, albeit small. When I saw Motorhead there last year, the balcony seats were closed off, so it was all floor. There's really not a bad place to stand, as the view is decent from anywhere. Security wise, I didn't see too many people getting kicked out for using their phones to take pics or videos. There weren't too many of them around me that night, from what I remember.

I used to go to AC a lot. And, I guess when you gamble enough, it's the least they can do for you.

I'm hoping to get there early that day. I got a free room at the Borgata (yay for comps!)
