Great guy. It was awesome seeing him in that setting. There were no big lines and you had a chance to talk to him without feeling awkward or that you were bothering him. It was also free admission. If I wouldn't have found out at the last minute I would have posted about it here.

Also, to those saying Axl was buzzed, I really don't think he was. He was too sharp with his responses when Kimmel asked him about specific stuff, especially as it relates to the past. No way would he have remembered stuff that quickly if he was wasted.

IMHO because he would quickly run out of things to say. It was a publicity appearance for the Vegas shows. He didn't mention anything relevant to music or what's going on lately. He is was too shy/private a person to do that often. He would never talk about the old band and new music etc. which is what they would want him to talk about.

He came off great tonight in a one off thing tho

Pretty cool though. Great reaction from the crowd. Just listen to that the next time people say no one cares about Axl, or the other members especially, anymore.

Lots of those people have no idea who the band members are. There is a big applause sign that flashes when they cheer.

What an amazing show yesterday, even with strep throat, Axl killed it. So awesome to watch Eddie Vedder perform! Great how it went down, as we were walking to stage, Neil's people asked to see if Eddie could perform a few songs; Axl's like, "For sure!"... what a great show, hats off to one of the best weekends I have had.

This is like the local story in my hometown recently. Oops, seems like Bumblefoot's got it wrong then...

He probably knew it was streaming and just assumed it was both nights. Nowhere official does it say anything about a stream tonight on the Bridge School or uStream. That's why I inquired. Hope it helps.

I love Axl and GNR as much as anyone.. but that performance last night was just WOW bad.

We're not talking a little off.. he was BAD.

and I'm not proud to say it..because I dont battle about the new GNR/old GNR. I'm an all around GNR lover.
