  1. I do not agree with the OP. Axl sounds fine on Locomotive. He's got 3 different vocal ranges

going on in that song. No one ever asked that question before because UYI's are awesome.

Now, what happened between TSI and Live Era is the question you should be asking.

No one disagrees that UYI's are awesome, but it's hard to believe the same vocalist who sung Welcome to the Jungle is really singing songs like Locomotive and Don't Damn Me. There is a huge difference in the vocals between Lies and the UYI's, and not in a good way.

And yes, Axl's voice post-TSI is beyond bad.

  2. I was listening to the Use Your Illusions albums earlier and couldn't help but notice how badly Axl's voice feel apart after Lies. I'm surprised more people don't talk about this and would rather discuss how the UYI albums were worse than AFD simply because there was a slight difference in musical styles between them.

My main concern was with the song Locomotive; I felt his Axl's voice literally ruined the song as it was overly nasal and made it painful to listen to over the guitar. Literally when the vocals came in at 50 seconds, I felt the whole experience was ruined:

What amazes me the most is that this is the same person who had near-perfect vocals (just like in the AFD times) literally on the final track of the previous album (Lies). Listen to how good Axl sounded on One in a Million (racism aside):

What on earth happened to him in a matter of years where he went from perfect aggression and range to literally being painful to listen to on some songs?

  3. OMG thats the one!!! Thank you so much, that bit of the song I uploaded is right at the end of that one.

Myles is amazing, I could've sworn it was Axl singing all along in some sort of live version!

Myles? There is no Myles in that version. First half of the song its a combination of Cypres Hill and Fergie, and the end is only Fergie . But it doesn't really matter, he has a female voice anyway... :tongue2:

So they're extras, is it Axl singing slower? I always thought Myles did all primary vocals on Slash's albums
