  1. Does anybody else worry about how long DJ will stay with GnR?

He seems to jump around from band to band. Bullet Boys, Ashba, Sixx AM, Beautiful Creatures, GnR now.........

With his tremendous writing skills (life is beautiful, motley crue smash album sola, enuff z nuff, etc), his amazing guitar shredding abilities, his clothing line booming, and his penchant for only staying with bands for a few years.... Just worries me that this intrical part of Guns n Roses might bail in us.

Don't worry, he'll only leave (as the rest) when the paying checks stop coming.

  2. Actually, Slash isn't changing his story.

"There were another couple of meetings like that in Doug Goldstein's office. Then, of course, there were endless meetings with the attorneys going over and over this thing. [...] [Axl] pushed this contract issue on us with so much pressure to the point that Duff and I just gave in." (Slash, Autobiography)

  3. Nu-GN'R started as a partnership between Axl and whatever musicians he wished to hire, apparently all signed by a contract.

Slash was presented a contract to take part of this partnership (?!?!?!?!?).

    Here's all explained:

Apparently Axl had these ideas for a while already as he did the same with Izzy back in 1991:

Question: What was the last straw, which made you leave the band?

Izzy: After the first part of the Use Your Illusion tour, Axl wanted to make me sign a contract which put me aside a little, which meant that I was less paid. I couldn't believe it. This contract came from a guy who I grew up with. We'd always taken Guns N' Roses as a friends' thing and, at one go, roughly, the singer said to me: "now, we're doing business." Why was I going to continue? Where was the fun? That was the last straw
