I believe that list is actually in reverse order. If you go to #40 (Greenday) then they are announced as the best live band in 2013. Sorry but hey, 35th isn't to bad!

I don't get why everybody complains about the setlist all the time. Iron Maiden never change the setlist once on their tours; not even switching the order they do it in and nobody ever complains about that.
We should be thankful that a) they're actually playing shows and not couped away doing jack **** and b) they occasionally play songs they don't normally songs and they change the order of the songs quite often
Just my 2 cents

Night train is on there twice. 'Nuff said...

Vote for GNR
in 2012
At least it'll shove it up NMEs arse. These are the complete and utter knobheads who posted articles degrading Axl every day for nearly 2 weeks

Wait, I bought Chinese Democracy from Hmv...

Rock AM Ring 2006 (Probably my favourite GN'R bootleg)
Inland Invasion 2006
LA Forum 2011
The Joint, Last Vegas 2011
Those are all pro-shot videos.
As for audiencde bootlegs, my favourite is Madison Square Garden 2002. I also love Birmingham LG Arena 2012 (Which i'm probably biased in favour of, since I was there).
Holy fuck!! Where can you get Birmingham 2012 from

They will continue to sucks ass
I'm not sure if you're aware, but rule #10 of the forum states that members should not bash the band. If you think the band sucks, perhaps you could spend your time on a website devoted to a band you like?
Well said!!!

Anyone who wears a Slash solo shirt to a NuGNR gig is looking to stir up shit and probably deserves to be kicked out.
Kinda weird that wearing a t shirt of your favourite GnR member (past or present) to a GnR gig is considered looking to stir shit up.
Taking in to consideration said band is on stage playing the guy's licks most of the night.
Yeah it sucks but it is what it is. Nowadays with GNR it's either you're on Slash's side or Axl's side or you're a complete fuckin casual who doesn't even know Slash is out of the band. If you wear a Slash (not GNR with Slash, but just Slash) shirt to a NuGNR show, chances are you're some arrogant Slash fan looking to make a statement. Same goes for people at Slash shows in NuGNR shirts.
Best compromise is to wear a GNR shirt with Slash on it. Security guards who kick you out for wearing that can get fucked.
Could somebody explain/post a link to what the madison rant is?
Thanks
Axl Rose signed into the forum back in 2010 and called Madison all sorts of mean things in response to her pushing a rumor about Slash shirts.
She was relieved of her admin position the same day.
Just read about it online, I don't wanna open up a debate or anything but wasn't that really immature on Axl's part? :L

Saw a guy wearing a Slash tee at Birmingham
Please confirm if you saw him inside the venue or outside. There is a thread going on about fans being banned for wearing Slash's tees and I refuse to believe it is true.
i was at the birmingham show and there was a couple at the bar infront of me wearing slash t shirts
It was definatley inside, it was during Thin Lizzy

Somebody in my class at school, there mam got Peter Andre ( ) to sing at their wedding for an hour set which was less than 20k, would it really be as much as one million?
-
I know this is asking a lot but it's really bugging me, can anybody help me out with the Thin Lizzy setlist?
Does anybody know if they played Killer on the loose and Massacre? I'm convinced they did but i'm not 100% also, they didn't play Still In Love with you, right?
Any help would be apprechiated(spelling?), thanks

Interesting how all the younger fans appreciate CD more.....
Not neccassarily, the only other mate of mine who is a guns n' roses fan can't stand CD. The reason I love it so much is cause every time I listen to it, I hear something new in the background that I haven't heard on other listens cause there's so much going on

I'm 15, I got into Guns N' Roses through Iron Maiden I suppose. In 2008 I heard run to the hills and was blown away by it, that weekend I went to HMV and got maidens greatest hits, next to that I saw Appetite for Destruction reduced to £3 as an offer, I picked it up, I thought the cover looked cool and recognized some of the song titles (Jungle, Sweet Child, Paradise City) I got AFD as well as the Maiden album and my love for GN'R and rock music went on from there. None of my family like this sort of music although my dad doesn't mind a bit of Thin Lizzy but they don't really have a problem with me listening to them.
Another thing I wanted to say was that Maiden are my favorite band, I'm literally obsessed with them and I saw them live last year and I saw GN'R on Saturday in Birmingham and even though I love Maiden so so so much, Gn'r is the best concert i've been to, out of the 10 or so i've been to so far and seeing Axl actually there in front of me just seemed ridiculous like it wasn't even happening
It took me a while to get into Guns properly though, at first I only listened to the 3 songs I already knew of but then I listened to the rest of the album and just loved it. I then went on to get Lies, UYI 1 and 2, I was to afraid to listen to CD at first as all I had heard was negative things. However I finally bought it and just wow, without doubt CD is my favorite album, just everything about it is amazing.
I've been looking at the forum for a few weeks just to see what people have been saying about the shows so far in preparation from Birmingham and then joined a couple of days before the gig, pretty good forum and it seems that there's always a thread going on compared to some of the other forums I used to be on

Just looked on the ticket factory website for information and saw:
Approx. running times:
Forum Live bars & food outlets open - 5:30pm
Arena Doors open - 6:30pm
Thin Lizzy - 8:30pm
Interval - 9:30pm
Guns N' Roses - 10:15pm
Finish - 1:30am
Good to see that they are at least informing people they expect late starts/finish unlike last time where they put the times for finishing at a normal time.
Oh and first time seeing Gnr, cannot wait
You're going to love it. Don't let whining for pics, videos or setlists detract from your experience, soak it in. I remember my first GN'R show, that first time you see and hear Axl in the flesh is surreal.
They could play 'My World' for 3 hours for all I care haha, in all seriousness it's going to be very strange being in the same room as Axl...
Chances of playing Think About You or Catcher? Oh well, a man can dream

I'm thinking about getting the tour book in Birmingham, is it worth getting?
Is it just a few photos of each band member and does anybody know how many pages there are?
Any help would be great, thanks
'Appetite for Democracy' DVD update

I laughed but I've always wondered the same thing... Not sure I could just sit in silence like a normal film but I guess there would be people expecting others to do that
