  1. I think most of you are the equivalent of a person who hasn’t seen food for weeks and starts to think dust is edible.

Chinese democracy stuff was b grade compared to anything gnr ever did.

so this is b grade of the b grade.

and you all lap it up!, you’ve been depraved for new music for so long you’ll start to think the farts that come out of axls ass is a gift to the world.

  2. he's a great drummer. but i've said it numerous times and im sure most will agree.. he's suited more of a session drummer role.. his style really gets lost in the mix of the gnr sound and ends up becoming the weaker part of the band.. while he keeps time perfectly and does what is asked of him, he just doesn't have that edge that others have..

look at taylor hawkins rocking this shit up with gnr and immediately the band sounds 1000x better.. just because of taylor..

it says alot about how crucial a proper rock drummer is more important than a session drummer who's style just doesn't have that edge..

  3. you know what?, i think that's actually a pretty good idea..

HOWEVER.. they could even do a two album set where it's new gnr material where it's the current band, and then release a second album that's collaborated with someone else of the like of reznor or skrillex.. i think it would be interesting. it's like you're still pleasing people who love real gnr rock, and on the other hand you will have a album that could potentially push boundaries..

  4. look at this from a business perspective..

keeping gnr the way it is, is VERY profitable for these guys.. it'll dry up, and guess what happens then.

bring in izzy and adler.. and "split the loot" will surely happen..

the original guys would have already have made their fucktonne of money by then.. i guarantee that's how it'll play out, just like apple tease you with a iphone8 then eventually a iphonex..

they will milk this and when the times right they will get the original band back up on stage and it'll sellout worldwide again, and probably even more than this "not in this lifetime tour"

i can see it playing out just like that.

yeah man, it was horrific... I was starting to give him a pass too. But the contrast between him and Adler on that song is just off the charts.. Him and anyone for that matter.

i hope this video can surface soon.. i haven't seen it, but i'd sure as hell would like to put adlers version next to his..

I think Frank decision's to use a jazz drum kit is a bad choice, it dont fit with the guns n roses sound.

Frank is a good drummer, but he is playing with a jazz drum kit, this is like slash playing with a stratocaster, it will not fit with the gnr sound.

    DW DRUMS

    DW Jazz Series Drums

Silver Sparkle Lacquer over a Black Base finish

    Satin Chrome Hardware

    www.dwdrums.com

so let's compare the dw's Frank drum kit with the Yamaha Matt Sorum drum kit

Below the same Drum kit Matt sorum used on UYI tour

Wrong. Sorry dude, ferrer plays a dw... its hardly a jazz kit, this dw bass drum is small.. his is a 22x18 minimum.. standard rock bass drum..

Ferrers problem is hit interpretation of the songs.. yeah he can play, but he has a habit of hitting too hard when not required and overplaying the beat at times when it should be kept simple.. too many accent and ghost notes.. technically its great.. but its not needed on gnr songs.. perhaps on a new album with new songs sure...but on the existing songs his accents, ghost notesand hard hitting stand out like dogs balls..

don henley played Patience ONCE with these guys in 1989 and didnt miss a beat

what this frank drummer guy does here on the outro part is something completely unbelievable

    really i cant believe this

i agree,.. franks a great drummer.. but he's not the right fit for this band.. perhaps for new material, but his versions of the older stuff doesn't always work... especially for patience.. wtf is he doing?

  8. I really hope Kushner isn't involved in this either.. I just want the old fashioned Guns N' Roses with two guitarists... It worked better than any other version...

I'm with you on that one.. Kushner is a great guitarist, I've seen him play with vr twice and on both occasions he absolutely nails it.. Brilliant stage presence.. Excellent performer, and he can play the shit out of a guitar, and has great chemistry with duff and slash. But he's never been in gnr, and I don't know why he would be on a reunion tour. Unless izzy can't do it, maybe he's the third that axl likes to have? I personally think he's way better than ashba.
