  1. I dropped $700 for two tickets in Toronto.  I can't believe the talk around this tour.  I just started a new job and people around me at work are talking about getting tickets.  Last night at my boys baseball practise, a dad asked everyone if they wanted to go with him to the concert.  It's crazy.  Can't wait.

  2. Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba's e-cigarette vapor pissed off a Vegas concertgoer so badly ... the guy put an ass whupping on Axl Rose's axman.

It's not the most rock 'n' roll brawl we've ever heard of ... but here's what went down. Ashba was at Planet Hollywood over Memorial Day weekend to see Romeo Santos perform. Our sources say when the guy said something about the e-cig ... Ashba shot back, "What are you going to do about it, buddy?"

That question sparked the fight, and we're told the guy's girlfriend even got in the mix.

Security escorted all of them out, but cops determined Ashba was the victim ... and the couple got cited for misdemeanor battery.

This is what happens when rock stars actually "get in the ring".

  3. I bought it on bluray and watch it last night, so, here's my comments:

Overall I love the show. I have a theater in my basement and the sound and 3D video are excellent. I realize that the show is pieced together to get the "best of's" but it appears pretty seamless. Axl voice for the most part is excellent. There's a few times where he can't sing with rasp and it just sounds like a high-pitched compromise but not awful by any means.

The presentation is excellent from the girls to the stage layout and pyro. If anything, someone should tell Axl to STOP DANCING. He looks like he's doing the 80's high-school shuffle most of the time. I'd rather he stand still and lean on a mic-stand than try to dance. His serpentine moves are still good but that's about it.

Overall I give the show a 9 out of 10.

  4. Legally, Axl may be 100% in the right. This still makes him look like an asshole though. Slash is always going tom be associated with WTTJ, and Guitar Hero was smart enough to know that practically no one would be waiting in line to play as DJ Ashba. Telling them they can't offer VR tracks as downloads makes him look even worse, as if he's afraid of the competition.

Yeah, pretty much. It's the fact that he singles out the whole Slash-imagery thing that makes it seem like sour grapes more than a case of real legal concern. You can't really control pop culture - no matter how long it's been since he was in the band, that's always the band Slash is gonna be known for to most people, and it just seems silly to me to attack that.

Slash LEFT the band on his own, now he is trying to cash in on it? How is that ok? I fail to see how you think it is ok at all. In fact Slash is the first one in recent memory to NOT discuss Guns in interviews, so as long as he can use it to make money it's ok then? That is the problem, either distance yourself or embrace it by getting the rights to use the song, you can't have it both ways.

It is wrong, Slash knew it, and the makers of the game knew they did not have the rights issue figured out and decided to release it anyway. They honestly don't give a fuck is the message here.

Slash has a writing credit on the song. He has rights to the song. He was in the music video for it. He plays on it. But now he's not allowed to be associated with it?

Technically speaking, Slash is only being associated with the song, which he has the right to do, but it just so happens that it's a GnR song. He's "indirectly" being associated with GnR.

I thought from the chats, that Axl was going to sue because he wasn't informed that the song was going to be on the game, and he didn't get paid for it. If he was suing over that, it would be fine, as that's money that is legally owed to him. But suing over "Slash's relation to GnR"? That's just dumb.

When people sue for things they cover all the basis with the hope of winning some of them. It's like suing for $1,000,000 with the hope of settling for $500,000.

  5. LOL. GNR are huge, they can sell stadiums. Korn.. eh? Sorry but why the fuck would GNR co-headline with anyone like korn? Co-hedline with bands as big as Kiss or Metallica.. but if Korn could co-headline with GNR, then I could co-headline with GNR too with my band :D. Ya know.. nothing against Korn, but they are so fuking far from being big enough for GNR..

In the US, GNR, atleast Nu-GNR anyway, isn't that big anymore. Korn is probably a bigger draw here then them. As I said, it'll probably be a Limp Bizkit/Korn tour seeing as how Bizkit reunited and have a new record on the way.

I watched Korn on HDNet in some crop circle and there was literally no one there.....LOL.

  6. I like KoRn.

Or at least I used to until Head left.

Anyway, I don't think it's gonna be with GnR because KoRn and GnR usually treat their audiences in very opposite ways so I don't see them co-headlining for...say...more than two dates.

head has proven to be more important to korn than slash for GNR :P

  7. i hate all forms of graffiti. even if the low life had permission, he inspires people to take their fucking spray paint cans and markers to anything in my city.

    Agreed.

Plus, it look disgusting. I can't understand that anyone can like it. I'd rather watch a 50 years old worn ugly cement wall than see it with graffiti on it.

There is a difference between graffiti and graffiti art.

    What's the difference?

Graffiti is illegal, graffiti art is legal.
