The little kid with the white guitar i think is 12-13 years old now and he played onstage with Scorpions also last year. Remember him because you'll see him in the feature for sure.

LOL, please post the link to this "really bad" "Used to love her" video. I wanna see it with my own eyes how bad they sound on a youtube video recorded with a super sensitive microphone on a mobile phone or pocket camera.

4tus is a poser who doesn't understand his new role. Slash doesn't need to compete with him, but 4tus is forcing the issue. NO CHEMISTRY here, its plain and obvious. 4tus won't force Slash to "up his game", ala Axl's plan with with Zack in the 90s. 4tus is just messing up what the fans want - a free and happy Slash taking over his rightful role as the lead guitarist of his band, GNR.
Hey man, look there is one who will go to see Richard and i'm sure i'm not the only one. It looks like you really don't respect other people point of view?! You really know what you are talking about, right? I fully disagree with you. When you write this kind of posts please speak for yourself only! As a guitar player i will go to see them all. Slash and Richard are both really, really good guitar players and as far as i know Slash asked Richard to play with him before. So... yeah, he's good and also very versatile and doesn't need to step back at all. The overall sound of the show depends mostly on the mixing engineer, his hands are on the slides for every instrument in the band during the show and usually the mix that people in the crowd hear is different from the mix that is in their in-ear monitors.

It might be because the GN'R stream will be sort of different from all the other bands' streams, being only a few songs from their set. Maybe they called it "Special Performance" so people wouldn't think "oh, now I'm gonna watch the complete GN'R set".
There's something strange the start time of the stream from your link is 10:40AM and on their youtube channel is 12:40AM

Guys i'm also checking at the moment the Coachella streaming schedule on their youtube channel and i can't find GN'R anywhere on the list. If they stream the show at all the only option is:
"Special Performance" on 12:40am local time (GMT -8) - April 16

@mend How many times did you attend Slash shows in the last years? When he is on stage he is really concentrated almost 100% of the time. I really like watching him play live. He's not running around like crazy anymore.

@Bono I'm a fan of the band since 1991, so your presumption about this is not correct and surprisingly after all these years and all the things you are explaining in your post (some of them are true some of them not that much from my point of view - a matter of personal perception of course) I still have a huge respect for these guys, what they did, what they currently do and plan to do in the feature and i will fully support them with what i can. A lot of things changed, people changed, i've changed a lot, the guys changed a lot also during these years... the things are not static they move on and no one is perfect but at last we are all trying to do our best. You are right i don't really post that much and i will not post a lot in the feature too but this doesn't mean that i'm not aware or i don't care what's going on. Regarding the number of posts... this is not a competition!

Guys, I'll tell you my point of view why they are not here and probably why they will not come here and why they don't provide much information except the needed one as a whole. I hope you will take your time and think a little bit about this and change something. The thing is... I'm reading the topics here in this forums and also some other places on the net from time to time and based on the comments i have the overall impression that a big part of the GN'R fan base have very DISRESPECTFUL attitude toward the band members (new and old) and not only this they have this disrespectful and negative attitude even between themselves, which is really sad! How can you pretend that you are a "fan" and like someone/something (band, person, music, etc...) if you don't respect it and constantly throw negativism in one or another way at the band and the band members, i can't understand! Just think about it... most of the time the good things in life usually happen when you act in a positive way, not when you are grumpy and negative. People are more open and willing to share with other people when they have positive person in front of them, not a negative and disrespectful one. I really hope that you will think about this, change something in a positive way and with time most probably the things will start to change in a positive direction for everyone (band and fans). It's not that hard to be polite. Try it!

Internet is something that will not disappear in this life time and is constantly developing, so the music industry have to learn how to adapt and live with it. Constant complains about shared music will not help them a lot. They really don't have any other choice.

Opinion from an "80s kid"!
I'm reading the forums from time to time and my impression is that most of you guys are constantly over analyzing everything and this is meaningless. like this topic for example. I think it's great that GN'R are back and the boys will play together again. I will enjoy every bit of the coming bad-ass rock n' roll shows because after 20+ years they are still in my heart, their music is build in my veins and they still rock!
