You know, I joined the forum back in 04, when I was halfway thru high school . This band got me through a lot and the "Nu-GnR" had not been active since 2002 MTV VMA. But during that time . I listened the fuck outta the music and followed the band, When the leaks came in early 06 it was a great time ... And I was at the Hammerstein show where izzy played and saw them later that year at Izod. My point is , even 10 years later ... I still somewhat follow the band and it is frustrating that it's been 6 years since CD and nothing ( other than new live DVD/CD ) has come out. GnR was great in the 80s/90s ...and there was a lot of intrigue back in 2002-2007 when the band was back in full swing . But these latter years , post CD, have honestly killed this band . It's not about Slash or the other original members . It's about rocking and putting new music and new legacies out. Here's hoping they can deliver

GH re-entered the charts because it was on sale during Black Friday at most music outlets for less than $5 ...so everyone shut the fuck up and stop bitching.

I definately do believe something shady was going down before and during the release of CD. Now..I never seen this mentioned on here before, but I was listening to some STP interviews earlier this year where they were talking about the new album and etc. I think they asked Weiland how the whole reunion thing came up while he was still in velvet and asked him how VR felt about him rejoining STP. He said in the beginning it was cool because slash was actually wanting to do something with "guns". I swear look the interview up, I know the guy who interviewd them was the dude from the man show? Its online somewhere.

Hey Ax , thanks for posting on here..its made alot of ppl, (including myself ) happier. Can you at least tell us whats the deal with Robin? He wrote the best song , at least in my opinion on the record. Also will Frank, BBF and Robin have more contributions to Future GnR records? Thanks and God Bless.

Scott makes me laugh. I think he was either drunk or just slurring on purpose to sound like he was high. He has gotten better in the past few months and put on a little weight. But my guess is he was drunk or faking it OR he has done so much crack it has finally affected him. But I find that hard to believe because when he is on stage performing he can sing fine and rush out a good song, yet he has problems getting through one sentence? .....IDK whats up with him these days but that man is crazy.

Year Zero is def a great album...but the weirdest thing happened to me....I put the CD on my PS3 to save the tracks and when I ejected the CD it came out a different color...no bullshit..anyone tried this yet? maybe the temperature when burning the CD causes it to change color..I thought it was pretty neat

Of course I bought some official Tee's from the vendors inside the arena, But I was kinda impressed with some of the bootleg tee's that were being sold outside the arena after the show..I was able to score one with a logo on the front and the band members/NA tour dates on the back...FOR 5 Bucks! u cant beat that.. ..anybody else buy some of these tee's?

I remember the security guy from Hammerstein too when he seen me with my jacket on, he swore i was hiding some sort of recording device in all those pockets

I was going to start a thread about this earlier, anybody who has gone to the recent shows, have you been able to bring in cameras or have you had a hard time?

Ill be there , even though they are upper level seats, ill still have fun (after all ive seen them up close at hammerstein) and Ill be coming from a place in NJ where no one thinks there are any GnR fans,,..NEWARK!

Did you notice that on the official GnR site its listed that the show will take place on Monday the 6th but on my order confirmation it says the 5th of Sunday? I dont want to be screw'd ...can someone clarify this please?

Anybody in the NYC/ NJ / PA area going to be going on site to get the tickets? Ill probably do that instead since ticketbastard isnt that reliable.

It is highly rumored that Kurt Loder himself will conduct an Interview with Axl at some point in the Pre-show, In during which he might announce a release date. These guys are so tight, I mean come on I can see this coming from a mile away....

During the VMA's there are always many commercials promoting artists new CD's, tours and etc. Look at what they did last year, they announced the return of "Beavis and Butthead" and a few months later we got the DvD's. This definately means something for Guns N' Roses and Chinese Democracy. Axl is not just gonna go there, present the award and go home. Something is brewing, and we will find out in one week.

Hell yes this is great news, Axl is important, theyll probably have him present video of the year which of course is going to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hopefully he'll do a surprise performance!

Man I was right there, but security was sooo damn tight, the only thing we can hope for is that they release this concert on DVD, I saw a guy using a pro-shot camera ..so lets keep our fingers crossed...
