Oh that’s right, must’ve skipped while clicking through, gonna edit it.

They seem to think we'll like Rough Mixes #2 a lot. Seems full of Bucket and Brain songs.

I want Disc #2 so bad. Bucket solo on Shackler's, P.R.L. (supposed to be the title track of the next disc), some Bucket demos, Quick Song, Zodiac...

BBF's solo on TWAT is clean.

Haha, that sounds like a waste of bandwidth.
What is the tracklist?
Catcher, Maddy, Chinese, Scraped, Jungle, Easy, Brownstone, TWAT, James Bond, LALD, Sorry, ITW, Prostitute, Rocket Queen, Michelle, SOD, KOHD, YCBM, IRS, Ballad of Death, SCOM, TIL, November Rain, Pink Panther, Shackler's, Out ta Get Me, Nightrain, Better, Patience, Paradise City.
Full Chinese but Riad, some Bumble vocals during the instrumentals.

Considering we had never even heard titles like State of Grace, Perhaps, Eye On You, etc, I'd say it's a fair bet that there may be more songs we've never even heard about.
There's still a chance those were working titles and we know them by a different name. Like 3 Dollar Pyramid turned into Better.

The Chairman >>> Santa Claus
Any bets on what will we get later? Rough Mixes #2, #4 or Quick Song?

It's just crazy because if it is the case... what was happening musically between when bucket left and when Bumble started doing overdubs? Was '02-'06ish just completely musically fruitless? They/Axl didn't write anything?
I'm afraid yes, iirc most of the band didn't even meet during that time, GNR future was really uncertain. Axl probably had some ideas going around, recorded lyrics and vocals on tracks that are missing (not only the ones released on CD) and that's it.

im pretty sure dub suplex was turned into "jumpman" and released by buckethead.
Wow, spot on! It's really sad Axl had someone as talented as him and most of "his" songs weren't released, even though his solos by themselves are already amazing and elevate most of the songs. I guess his demos that made the final cut were Shackler's and Sorry.
-
Billionaire, Dub Suplex, Devious Bastard and Dummy are all Bucket's songs, almost certain of this. All of those were recorded on 10/05/00 and this is classic Buckethead sound.

Look at the dates on all the leaks so far. 2000 was a huge year. with March and september being crazy productive months
90% of ChiDem and I'd say the whole supposed trilogy was made by that time. Axl recycled TIL from Illusions' sessions almost at the buzzer and added lyrics and vocals to Better (3$ Pyramid), Shackler's, If the World and Sorry and that's it. I just have no idea when did Scraped show up but it would be better if it never did.

Dub Suplex is pure Buckethead, omg. Loving it.

Quick Song, Rough Mixes #2 and #4 missing now, right? I can't wait for Rough Mixes #2, seems full of Bucket and Brain demos.

Axl was right. Of course that motherfucker was right. One of the best songwriters of our generation couldn't be wrong about songs he worked so hard to release in 2000. I'm so mad at the producers who rejected this.
I know it's 20 years too late but the frustration he probably had after the rejection must've been so bad. No confidence, 8 years polishing songs that were already amazing, the official release of Chinese Democracy totally undermined by all the leaks that happened before. This would've been HUGE in 2000. Everyone was waiting for Guns N' Roses' return. Instead, he probably wasted his prime songwriting years insecure about himself and his band, almost never touring. If you ever read this I wanna say you're amazing and this is pure gold.

I love 2008 CD but this would have made a Phenominal album too. These versions are awesome and would have paved the way for more albums with Bucket too
This is what pisses me off the most by far. Sure, we would never get Bucket's solo on TWAT (and all his contributions to those songs too). But if THIS was released in 2000, most likely we would have had a proper tour in 2001-2002 and at the very least one or two more albums released last decade. This being rejected by Bob Erzin essentially fucked up Axl's confidence in the band he had and the band was split.

Disc 2 is mostly instrumentals from what we know, all the leaks of Disc 4 are also instrumentals. The 3 leaks we got from Disc #3 are with vocals, so probably that one has most songs with vocals missing.

I'm literally having goosebumps listening to Maddy. Much better than CD's version, Axl's message to the world he's back.
Fuck Bob Erzin, if this album was released GN'R's future would be much brighter, no momentum lost, the new band would be huge in the 2000's.

Listening to how it's mixed mostly, I'd say there's a pretty big chance this is actually the album as Axl originally wanted. All the other leaks sound less finished than this, especially listening to these versions of Atlas and Perhaps.

Wait ... Is this actually 2000 Intensions? Track order & all ?
Not confirmed, but as it has ALL the new songs they played in 2001-02, the quality is crystal clear and it's the #1 CD of "rough mixes", I'd say probably

The Blues is perfect. Robin's lick after the solo and on the beginning is so damn missed. Only thing I'd change is remove Silkworms, put IRS and The Blues as the closer and that album would be a big hit in 2000.

The running time of the leaks match with the supposed ones on that tracklist.

I think its clear any other all "new" songs sans Atlas and AfD99 are unfortunatly off the table at this point... At least for a long time.
So, Id like 1999 Silkworms and Atlas at this point tonight. The rumored 1999 Shacklers would be killer too. Was there a 99 Better?
Thatd pretty much be the entire 1999 album.
Maybe Perhaps, the other one supposed to have Brian in it

Not even sure where to begin. 11 leaks. That's a whole album. Wow.
Prostitute (2 and 3), IRS, Hard School, TWAT, The Blues, CD, Rhiad, Going Down, Catcher with Brian. I'm counting 10, am I missing one?

It's probably gonna be only Easy, CD and DTJ, fits perfectly with the 13 minute runtime. All songs that Axl doesn't struggle with too.
