  1. John Lennon was a dick.

    Everyone else was okay.

I could care less. He might have been the biggest douche on the planet, but he could write a hit fucking song.

"It's okay to be a dick who beats women and mentally abuses your own son, if I like your music"

    Got it.

  2. Because the Academy are idiots, the fact that people like Jennifer Lawrence and Jennifer Hudson have an Oscar at all (and especially before Leo) is a joke.

Well they're not exactly his major competition.
    Really? I didn't realise.

They also didn't award Peter O'Toole an Oscar until his honourary one.

The two Jennifer's are average at best, the Academy's standards are messed up. I swear they just hate Leo.

  3. 2 years? why?

I don't know. Could be that the actors are doing other projects at the same time, time taken to write the episodes (they're 1 hour and 30 minutes long) and then filming time. But yeah, the second started and finished in January of 2012; the third should start around January 2014, maybe December of this year.

  4. Orphan Black is a good show.

Yep, finished the first season a few weeks ago.

I think it is the third best new show this season. Tatiana Maslany deserves an Emmy nod.

    Best New Shows:

    1. Rectify (Sundance)

    2. The Americans (FX)

    3. Oprhan Black (BBC America)

True Blood has me intrigued again. That is all.

I see I'm not the only one.

    I await Lithium's thoughts.

the ending to the last episode was pretty weird.

i'm still "meh" on this season so far.

I hate the direction they are taking with Alceide and Andy.

seriously..does Sookie need another love interest (the fairy dude)?

    i enjoyed last season.

Would you recommend your top 2 then? I need some new shows to watch and I've heard good things about The Americans.

I think i'm gonna stop watching True Blood, not even Alex can make me stay watching that messiness.

  5. Well, he's not wrong. Who were they to say where he could and couldn't go?

So if somebody wants to come to your house and you tell them "you can come by Thursday night, but that's it"..................don't YOU have the right to dictate who you allow into your home????? Kayne is saying that nobody should be allowed to have that power. HE should be able to come and go as he chooses. Because he is a God, a rock star, etc.

What do you think would happen if YOU and your buddies showed up at Kayne's house every night. Would he let you in or would he call security to keep you out?

He's not talking about houses though, he specifically said "show".

Of which you have to be invited. Basically he's been told that he's not invited and he's cracked it. Its kind of laughed about though the way Vogue shuns KK. Whenever they appear at a fashion event together they are photographed and she pretty much gets cropped out of the shots. When it comes to fashion week, the organisers can do what they want, it's THEIR world and their shows. If it so important to him, he should start a fashion company and not just be a sulky, arrogant pop star.

Huh? the story is that a top designer basically said "come to my show at Paris fashion week, but I won't let you if you are going to attend others" and he was mad that he was given an ultimatum; not that he wasn't invited. You might wanna know the backstory before commenting. Also, I don't understand the relevance of Kim to this.

Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix.

Nope, he is just an untalented joke

Fuck him, i wish he drop down in hell to clean the devils shoes with his tongue

Wishing death on others makes you a good person

  7. I always wonder why people hate Kanye's honesty, yeah, he's a bit arrogant but he's honest about it. In the world of show business where people constantly try and an portray themselves to be nicer and more down-to-Earth than they actually are, Kanye's shameless honesty is refreshing.

  8. Seems the whole 'share your game with up to 10 family members' was deception from the beginning, some Microsoft fans that were happy about this being a feature should be thankful that their hand was forced and it was removed:

When your family member accesses any of your games, they’re placed into a special demo mode. This demo mode in most cases would be the full game with a 15-45 minute timer and in some cases an hour...When the time limit was up they would automatically be prompted to the Marketplace so that they may order it if liked the game.

  9. I went to the show never having heard a U2 album, ever (have never been a fan, my partner got the tickets from work, advertising has lots of perks and freebies) and not a hip hop fan either. I walked away quite blown away by U2. They really know how to entertain an audience. There is an energy, a syncronicity that I wasn't expecting. It was amazing. Kanye on the other hand, sank like a lead balloon. It probably had a lot to do with the fact that the tour organisers were total retards, because clearly U2 fans were going to have animosity towards a rapper. The two just don't gel together. But I also think that Kanye didn't have his shit together. He sensed a tough crowd and he fucked up big time. He didn't have the conviction required. It was a stinker and I assume he learnt a lot from that performance/tour.

I'd go with the idea that a lot of people that are fans of U2 tend to be so far up their own arse, that they fail to listen to anything other than what they consider to be 'real music' aka dad rock. I'm sure some of their fans thoroughly enjoyed Kanye's set too, if they don't close themselves off to rap, mind.

The contents of your underpants reared their ugly head to me about two seconds after I hit post so I was hoping you'd go with the him equalling the default sex kinda thing.

:o Let's go with that then.

  10. So many mentions of Kanye's name, how blasphemous.

Agreed. I remember seeing him live as the support act to U2 (no logic there whatsoever) in early 2006 and everyone just stood there and looked at each other and ended up cracking up. It was EMBARRASSING. People were shouting out "get this dick off!"

I wasn't being deprecating about Kanye :D I adore him, that's why I was saying it was blasphemous to mention him as overrated.

He's actually great live; I'd be more embarrassed about seeing U2 tbh :shrugs: If their fans hate you then well done I say!

  11. I dunno. I'm glad Microsoft bent over and took it.

That said, I'll go with PS4 simply because of the price.

The thing for me is, it's obviously not about customer satisfaction; it's about their profit margin. Whilst I'm not stupid and obviously Song cares a great deal for that also, they also care about customer satisfaction.
