These songs are very average IMO..not really worth the wait all these years. What's with his voice..it's so damn high?? To me these songs sound so dated..they sound as though they should have released in '95 or something, it fits that whole style back then.

I love glam metal..like the early gnr stuff is awsome. Early 80's hairbands were really good..like Charisteas said, late 80's and early 90's manufactured hairbands gave a bad reputation to the genre because everybody wanted to be part of the craze. But the early glam hairbands were awsome....LA Guns, Hollywood Rose, early gnr, Hanoi Rocks, Motley,Faster Pussycat..

One is simply awsome

He's very good..his vocal range is amazing. You can't compare him with Axl, cause Axl is mediocre compared to Freddie. Axl gives you 1 really good performance every 3 to 4 concerts. Freddie can sing more and better and longer. When it comes to talent and vocal range it's joke to put Axl in the same category as Freddie. When it come to personality and respect of the individual..it's also a joke to compare Axl with Freddie. The only fault I can find with Freddie is that he's definately one of the ugliest frontman in history!

The moment I started hating this album is the first time I saw Bono and U2

doing that commercial for ipod(or some shit like that) with vertigo playing

in the background. I've seen that commercial like million times this past

month and it makes me hate U2 with a passion...it's like up to what point

can you keep shoving something down people's throats. I thought some of

those crappy little teen bands were commercial, but U2 beats them all. U2

have become such a commercial band aimed for the masses it's ridiculous..so

far away of what they once were in my opinion.

By the way, the album is weak, overhyped and overrated. I taught I would

give it a listen after I heard Vertigo...big mistake. This album is so slow,

and without pace it's like watching paint dry. The rest of the the album is

definitely not like vertigo. Because all the songs lack pace it makes them

all sound the same. This album is very boring, no punch like someone said.

If you're very depressed and on the verge of doing something to yourself DO

NOT LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM, I repeat DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM, because it will

push you over the fence. If this album doesn't want to make you slit your wrists

nothing will. There is no way anybody can be happy and listen to the album

at the same time.

GNR is not the greatest live band. Led Zeppelin is one of the best live bands ever, better than GNR. I rate GNR maybe the best live band ever for small clubs, their energy and rawness just jumps out at you when you see them in a small club performance, I rarely saw anybody better playing small venues. Apart from a few songs, GNR's music never really did anything for me when they played huge stadiums. I just think their style was perfect for small venues.

Slowly it is. The boy bands have died out and the "Modern Rock radio" is getting to a point where the stations seem to be playing more and more of bands with a distinct sound. I am confident that Velvet Revolver is gonna lead the charge for a whoel turn around in what the "mainstreme" percieves as rock. Hopefull Axl can keep up and even take a handoff.

Do you really think VR is gonna be mainstream and popular?? You think they're gonna get a big push from their record company and get on rotation on MTV???

the last 10 years there has been no real rock n roll bands, and finally it looks like rock n roll bands are making a comback. bands like brides of destruction, velvet relover even the darkness and audioslave are really brings back the old rock sound. but thats just what i think!

that's just incorrect. If you played guitar (maybe you do), you would understand. If you've seen Led Zeppelin live it's obvious, they are just better in my opinion. I play the guitar and when look at some of Zeppelin's stuff on paper and how they do it live, it's f*cking amazing!! If your just a music and don't really pay attention to that sort of stuff then I understand why it may not seem obvious, but to me it's obvious. GNR is my favorite band of all timme hands down, but they are not the best of all time.
