No reason to be confused, just assume that any plans that are revealed to us from the band or insiders are subject to change at short notice or not be fulfilled for various reasons chief among them incompetence and dysfunctionality.
With a band where plans change rapidly what is true quickly becomes was true. I think by now, with all these years of insider information, we should have learnt that whatever an insider says is about as relevant for what is actually going to happen in the future of GN'R are as good as our own best guesses. Hell, don't even trust band members when they talk about the band's plans. They are all, Axl included, as lost and as much victims of the chaos that is GN'R as we are.Why is this thread bumped?

I was hoping someone could bring me up to speed on the new songs that were played and the rest of the exclusive news that was supposed to be revealed.
No "new songs" were `played in Vegas (except for some old ones that had not been played in a long time: "Yesterdays", "TWAT" and "Prostitute"). Duff McKagan guested on May 31st show.
No exclusive news were revealed either.
What happened? Was it just wrong information or did someone lie?
Why is the other information not being shared?
Im disappointed here.

I dont believe that about the dysfunctionality or incompetence.
I think a mistake was made and somebody reported wrong news.
I should only listen to official news and not all the rest.

New songs never meant brand new. It always meant new old songs that hadn't been in the setlist.What happened? Was it just wrong information or did someone lie?

Del's a complete wanker. Why Axl surrounds himself with these kinds of people is beyond me, but then, he would probably think some of my friends are dick heads too.
Have you met Del? I highly doubt you have because if you did, you'd know he's a very nice person and respectable IF you treat him the same way.

Not true, it's to huff oxygen so he doesn't get criticized for being out of breath like he was after the VMAs. He's been doing it since the 90s, but now he does it almost every song. Sometimes he changes his hat too.
What do you mean not true..? He's not denying anything. He clearly says "everything that needs to be taken care of." I think that includes his own voice. It's a good thing he uses the oxygen.

I totally understand that Axl Rose is the frontman for GNR and that he is a celebrity. I just don't understand why people can' t see beyond what they see when they are at a show. I mean, why can't they see him as a regular person with a different occupation?
He is a man with feelings/emotions and lives and breathes the same air we all do so why are people so starstuck?

Come on dude, Axl explains why he runs off stage and you still think it is for the reasons you said? He tells you why in this interview but you again spin it to fit your own negative agenda.

I think CD showcased that Axl is extremetly talented and can variate his music style.
However, we are so used to AFD and UYI styles that we had expectations that CD would be contain songs more along AFD and UYI styles and when it didn't, threads like this are started?

I just listened to this and it sounds like a dance remix. When did Guns n' Roses become techno and sound like something you would hear at a disco?
