GNR & Aerosmith should do a co-headline tour. I’m not sure what’s the status of Aerosmith at this point though? Maybe have Uncle Ted Nugent as the opener, he’s always fun.

They should do a co-headline tour
GNR/ACDC
Honestly though, if this is AC/DC’s last tour, I’d feel cheated if Duff was in the band. I’d want the concert ad original as possible. I have no doubts Duff could do the job though.

The only way getting the band back together would make a difference in ticket sales, is if they could create another great album. I believe the five of them together could do it. Individually they are good musicians, but together they are great.

Definitely Izzy!
He hasn’t played live with GNR in 4ever.
I would hope his presence in the band would help inspire new songs, heck even if it’s just 14 Years, it would be the bomb.
I always thought his song writing Ability was under rated.- 1

Izzy was great at what he brought to the table in GNR. He could write some great songs where as Slash could create some incredible guitar solos/songs. That’s what made so great back in the day. Each member had so much talent & potential.

14 years, locomotive, RQ & This I love

Totally agree with that, too much risk, for sure. I see onset of there will be any Queen members there? As much as Taylor liked Queen, it’s be a shame if they didn’t participate. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. Someone is going to have some big shoes to fill.

I’d like to hear 14 years or Nice Boys, as an opener. Maybe shake things up entirely and play Paradise City!
-
Hmmm… maybe we should have included the Live album? Maybe a wast of time possibly …idk. Some songs are stronger on the live album vs the studio version.

Are we going to have a best of type thread, to see what song ranks the best overall? We could just take the winner off each album and vote.
-
That was hard a decision. That album has so many good songs!

I heard Sweet Child back in the summer of ‘87, and thought it was okay. Then I heard Jungle later that year (maybe?) and I thought it was a lot better song, more my speed. Then in 88-89, I heard Paradise City. That was all it took. I was in love with this band.

Happy birthday steven! here’s some thing to watch for a good laugh.
when your friends cuss on live TV, lol -
I think I may have the bootleg of that song, “Tastes good..” it’s on a tape I’ve had since ‘89. I Wish I had the hardware to download it to a CD or my computer to share.

They should play “Nice boys”. I haven’t heard them play that in a long time.

Seeing as how Dusty Hill from ZZ Top passed away perhaps a cover song from that band would be cool. Just don’t play it to death, lol.
PTU OR 14 Years would be great. -
Is there a list of all the guitarists that have auditioned and/or played with GnR? Especially during the period after the illusion tour, up to the CD release.
-
I’d have to go with 14 Years.
“But it's been 14 years of silence
It's been 14 years of pain
It's been 14 years that are gone forever and I'll never have again!”that’s all I have to say about that...

In regards to BumblefFoot & Dj leaving I think it sucks. Not 'cause I think they are a great guitarist, but because they were apart of one of my Favorite bands. Who am I kidding they are they best. Now we have to wait and see what Axl is going to do.... Find replacement guitarists or call it quits. A reunion would be great but I don't see that happening (although I wish it would). There are plenty of guitarists out there that can play the music, and I would love to see Duff (& Slash, (don't hold your breath but you never know)) back, that would be truely awsome. Speaking of replacement guitarists, I wonder what Ted Nugent & Eric Clapton are doing these days?! (LOL) Axl Should put on a concert called Axl & Friends and have different wel know guitarists play their favorite songs. Maybe Garth can show up (haha).
To DJ & Ron, you guys suck for leaving and screwing up my chances for seeing a great band in the near future, but I hope your futue endevors all do well.
Round 2 (or is it 3, IDK) starts now!
I’d love a stripped down GNR show
